pi pizzeria

cool place ! excellent pizza and martinis...especially the flirtini. we need more pizza places like pi and finally kick provel out of our city for good.

excellent!. "discovered" this place a few years back, while wanting a place to eat after going to an el monstero y los masked avengers concert [which itself is most wonderful experience / sounds!] @ the pageant across the street. started to walk towards church's chicken, saw this restaurant, went in, was warmly greeted, sat down, smelled the aroma, got settled, and ordered a couple pizzas... when they came out - wow. love 'em. been back again and again when in the area [did i mention about the el monstero concerts? ;) ] anyhow - unique and great pizza and place, with very good service.

we visited the new location on euclid and it was out first time dinning with pi. the crust on their pizza is very unique and there are plenty of options for everyone. great happy hour specials....

great pizza, and they handled our party of 7 quickly and with friendly service. we were told it would be a 40 minute wait and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in half the time. we ordered different thin and thick crust pizzas and they all were great. love the taste and texture of the thin crust. fresh tasty salads too!

horrible service. i had a group of 5 at the delmar location on 3/20. we were told there would be about an hour wait. since this is where my son wanted to go for his 18th birthday, we waited. after an 62 minutes of waiting, we were told there would be another 30 minutes. during the last 20 minutes of our wait, there was a long table that would seat 10-12 people at it with only two people on it. i finally inquired on that table and we were seated at the end of it. onto the meal; one person ordered the blt salad. it came with no bacon on it. since the waitress was not around and one of the hostesses was standing talking to what looked like an employee that had just gotten off, we waived her down. she came to the table with an attitude saying couldn't we see she was in a conversation. we asked for a manager, he came out and did not see surprised or concerned at all, didn't even apologize for her behavior. will not be back to your overpriced, over hyped establishment again.

not bad, but..... good food but the service is lousy and the owner is not very friendly. if you are spending money at an establishment you should feel welcome.

can't blame them for trying.. mediocre pizza, probably better than any deep dish cornmeal crust in the lou, but thats not saying much. this is after all chicago style pizza, in the land of thin crust.

the staff are pretentious, they might need lessons on manners. lighten up guys, its just pizza. i might actually be able to get one from lou malnotti's in chicago faster than i picked one up at pi. waited nearly an hour for carry out from their cwe location last week.

on a brighter note, the drinks seemed to go down smoother, the longer i waited.

seriously some of the best pizza my boyfriend and i have ever had. it may not be for everyone, but we adore their thincrust pizzas. with their higher prices, eating here is definitely a treat, but it is so worth it.

trendy & good eats. phenomenal pizza, with interesting combo of ingredients which is not your typical provel stl pizza. they are fast because they want a high turnover of tables, so not exactly relaxing. also, not family friendly it is more of a trendy pizza place for a group of friends or a fun date environment.

do not come starving, because you will most likely wait and have a drink or two. this is fine if you are in good company!

a long wait for not so great pizza. the wait to get into pi, even on a weeknight, is at least 45 minutes. it's not worth it. i've heard so many things about how wonderful the pizza is, but everyone in our 9-person party was unhappy with our meal. the crust was dry, the cheese was virtually nonexistent, and the sauce was flavorless. i've only been once, so i don't know if we just went on a bad night, but the prices were too high and the pizza was too disappointing to give pi a second chance.

you get what you pay for.... this is not the cheapest pizza i've ever had. but the ingredients are all fresh and you can tell. i thought it was good. i'll go back again.

pay top dollar, get good pizza. i enjoyed my food quite a bit but as others have said, there's definitely some negative elements to eating at pi. you're going to be paying ridiculous prices. let's make that clear first. if it's a weekend, you're going to be waiting a while. is the pizza good? i think so. the crust is thick and somewhat crunchy, and there were lots of fresh tomato sauce on mine. tasty, but it's not somewhere i'd visit unless i was craving that particular pizza or had a coupon.

love pi! crust is amazing!. i love pi, i live out of town and every time i come back home to the lou i make it a point to come here. i have only been to the delmar u city location but it is great.

pi...the missing ingridient. after visiting pi many times in university city,they are slowly losing their competitive edge. the service is sloppy,management no where to be found and the food has gone from wow! to no thanks. while having two additional locations one in kirkwood and the other in the cwe...mr.sommers i ask you to think before you open that fourth location.sometimes it is best to just have one of something and to make it an institution.

dislike!. i visited the new kirkwood location and was not impressed at all. the server was snobby and the pizza was not worth the price of what i paid. also their drink prices were outrageuos! i do not recommend this place at all for good pizza in st. louis!
