pho tau bay has become one of my regular spots for pho withgoodreason! as the name of the place suggest they serve pho and pretty much only pho! the broth here is rich, clear and bursting with flavor! the service is super quick, once you’re seated and ordered, your food will be out in no time. this place is consistently great and has never let me down.

i am sure all of you have occasional cravings for certain types of food (and you don't have to be pregnant to experience this!). this can beset you at any point in time. well, lately i have been craving all things vietnamese and i don't even know why! mygoodfriend cw and i have been planning to do a cabramatta crawl since february of this year. yes! you read right, february! :-) we finally managed to make it work. no heat wave, no prearranged social engagement and most importantly no track work planned that weekend. yay! i was looking forward to satisfying my cravings! the plan was to eat through our hit list but share the meals so we didn't fill up too quickly. we started by having breakfast and pho was our choice. pho tau bay has reputedly the best pho in town. i don't recall having been here before and it was quite a tiny little restaurant. we got there before 10 am and was lucky enough not to have to wait for a table. as we sat down, a man came up to take our order but we were no

this is one of my favourite pho restaurants. it's a family business which we've been going for at least 20 years. the quality of their pho has not dropped and continued to be served hot and fresh.goodthing is that there's no msg as well. would definitely recommend it to all my friends

one of the best pho in cabra, affordable price, quick and friendly service too. be ready for long queue if you visit them on weekend lunch. i had combination pho and hubby had pork chop rice. my pho was really good, thick and flavoursome broth, generous beef and very tender. but unfortunately i had to put aside the tripe cause i don’t like it. hubby’s pork chop wasgoodexcept the rice, he said it’s too dry.

the friendliest and cutest staff ever! 😭 the food was amazing,the pho wasn’t too salty or oily (like other places) the banh cuon was also prettygood😋 decently priced.

so apparently pho tau bay is supposed to serve up the best pho in sydney. it’sgoodpho, that i can say. but if i had to be brutally honest, i’ve had better. with pho everything rests in the flavour of the broth and i myself am a pho addict. i don’t want to disagree with others but i truly believe that, yes their pho is good, but i’ve had better. otherwise well worth the visit as there are lines that extend out of the restaurant so they must be doing something right.

i had a bowl of pho here a few years back and my thoughts were that it was so chinese. it did not resemble any of the authentic vietnamese pho. i am a pho fan and have been searching for that perfect bowl of pho. i tried pho tau bay again yesterday and my feelings were the same. if you seeks traditional pho then pho tau bay is not the right bowl for you. if you just need agoodbowl of beef pho and don’t care if its authentic or not then yes it will begoodenough.

the pho soup is too salty.the pork chop is just great, soft and taste good. very big portion of the the beef pho. worthy to try. this is a very busy restaurant. all dishes have been serve hot which is agoodthing.

first time came here. i have read manygoodreviews on this restaurant and always wanted to try this place. i didn't wait for a seat but people after me had to wait about 10-15mins which i think its not bad.
i ordered number 1, combination beef pho which has all kinds of beef, ball, tendons etc. for garnish, they gave me boiled beansprout, basil and lemon. my pho came within 5mins.
soup was really authentic but less salty and has strong beef smell which i am notgoodat. if you like strong beef smell then you will like it.
overall, i like their pho, however i wish soup had bit more flavour and less smell.

decided to eat pho and drop by here because of postive reviews. didnt regret at all. the pho was hot and ready to eat. i love the broth and the meat was good. the highlight of my meal was the hoi sin sauce! it seem to taste different compared to other places. i really love the sauce haha. customer service isgoodtoo. would come back for more 😊

a small clean shop run by cantonese speaking asians, i'll cut to the chase and declare that they are damngoodat what they do.

combo beef pho, tender brisket, soft tendon, generous portion, flavourful aromatic broth which is not too watery but not too overpowering. lets you enjoy the pho as one rather than trying to take centre stage. served steaming hot.

fish pho broth sweeter than the beef, which came as a mild surprise to me. still quite enjoyable doused in chilli sauce and sliced chilli.

good ol viet pork chop pho, smart of them to serve the pork chop on a separate plate, made it easier for me to steal bits and pieces. juicy and succulent, properly marinated, replete with charred aroma. couldnt steal a bite from the bowl though..

fried dough stick goes well w old school black filtered coffee. not sure if viets actually have this as a breakfast staple. probably could have come from the cantonese speaking bosses' background. all the better for it. if you havent tried asian style old school black filtered coffee with dough sticks, you dont know what you are missing.

yes this is the best and only place to get pho in sydney/the world so stop arguing because you're wrong so just stop and go and get yourself a big bowl of pho from the notorious ptb because it's the best and now you've learnt from your mistakes so you agree that 5/5 is the only appropriate rating and okaygoodi'm glad you realise these are just facts like how gravity or global warming are true things also

excellent pho. i grew up in cabramatta and regularly return for thegoodfood.

the flavour of the broth and quality of the meat is second to none and worth the hour plus journey.

not much more to say, excellent quality food.

it's still open for business as normal. why the top line said its closed? we went to had pho last sat.. the place renovated and price raised. tastes stillgoodthe soup is very tasty.

i am just going to keep this simple. do you love beef pho? then this is the place to be. beef pho heaven. sogoodi can have this everyday. will definitely give you cravings.

by the way, the pork chop can be addictive too. juicy piece of meat with a well balanced asian taste - sweet and salty.
