if someone told me that pho tau bay serves the best pho in sydney, i would not blink an eye (i haven't tried pho an yet). the enormous portion of pho bo with springy rice noodles topped with succulentbeefslices, onion curls, bean sprouts and lemon was meticulously prepared.

what makes the pho bo stand out is the intensity of the broth free of oil and my enemy (msg). hence, it is tempting for me to finish the whole bowl of pho (including the soup) in a cold, autumn night.

pho tau bay also serve other noodle soups aside from pho but there’s really nothing better than a bowl the size of your head full of both cooked and thinly sliced rare beef. my favourite part are the slippery rice noodles that you slurp with the broth of carefully simmeredbeefbones, their pho taste

not bad pho but not up to the reputation and prices. the soup was very light but still tasty. thebeefwasn't the best, quite chewy. the prices have shot up to $15/$16 although that's for a "medium" bowl that was quite large (the "large", which isn't even shown on the menu, would be unfeasibly large for most people, so it seems like a dodgy upsell that they even mentioned it).

one of the best pho in cabra, affordable price, quick and friendly service too. be ready for long queue if you visit them on weekend lunch. i had combination pho and hubby had pork chop rice. my pho was really good, thick and flavoursome broth, generousbeefand very tender. but unfortunately i had to put aside the tripe cause i don’t like it. hubby’s pork chop was good except the rice, he said it’s too dry.

thebeefpho was out of this world, the best vietnamese dish (let alone pho) i've had in years. i ordered the 3-type combinationbeefpho + large size.

if i could give this place more than 5, i would, but 5 will suffice :)

living around this area for quite some time you get the chance of trying multiple pho places and this one didn’t seem to stand out for me. we ordered the pho dac biet which comes in 2 sizes. thebeefwas cooked perfectly, not too dry and not too thick. the broth is most important, but for me it was lacking in flavour and didn’t have enough of its essential spices.
the service should also improve.

went there new year day. waited for about 15mins. popular restaurant.

we ordered spring rolls, beefbrisket pho, pork chop. generous portioned pork chop, meat was tender and fragrant. pho has lemon grass/ginger taste at the end, some might like it, some might not.
spring rolls served hot, crispy.. yum!!

i read many reviews about the restaurant, especially people recommended pho, but most of people eating in the restaurant were actually eating prawn cake / bbq meat diy (i don’t know how you call it)

overall great! reasonable price, big portion. will definitely return.

i had a bowl of pho here a few years back and my thoughts were that it was so chinese. it did not resemble any of the authentic vietnamese pho. i am a pho fan and have been searching for that perfect bowl of pho. i tried pho tau bay again yesterday and my feelings were the same. if you seeks traditional pho then pho tau bay is not the right bowl for you. if you just need a good bowl ofbeefpho and don’t care if its authentic or not then yes it will be good enough.

worse pho i have ever had in my life and i’m a big pho lover. i went with my partner and 2 friends. we ordered 2 mediums and 2 larges, which came to a total of $59. what a waste of money. overrated and overpriced.

i can’t believe they were the first pho restaurant in cabramatta, opened for 38 years and still can’t make a simple broth. the broth was literally just plain boiling water and had no flavour or taste to it.. the staff there were rude. they approached and asked us what we wanted to eat. i asked for “chicken banh canh” and he said there’s no more chicken broth. my partner asked for chicken pho, he said there was no more chicken meat left. my friends asked for “bun bo hue” only then he said there is onlybeefpho left. i didn’t see the point in asking us what we wanted to eat if there was only one choice available. he was very rude and did not care about service or hospitality. will never be coming back again.

first time came here. i have read many good reviews on this restaurant and always wanted to try this place. i didn't wait for a seat but people after me had to wait about 10-15mins which i think its not bad.
i ordered number 1, combinationbeefpho which has all kinds of beef, ball, tendons etc. for garnish, they gave me boiled beansprout, basil and lemon. my pho came within 5mins.
soup was really authentic but less salty and has strongbeefsmell which i am not good at. if you like strongbeefsmell then you will like it.
overall, i like their pho, however i wish soup had bit more flavour and less smell.

apparently this place was once awarded best pho in cabramatta so my friend and i had to check it out.it has been one of our favourite pho places ever since!!!! the prices are cheap,$11 for a bowl of flavourfuĺ pho .what a bargain+!!!! a very generous amount ofbeefis given which is very filling.the onions and greens give the pho a great finishing touch to the beautiful broth and meat :)) highly recommend this pho place for hungry stomachs!!!

as we talked into the place we saw that this place was not busy, there was another restaurant that was busy next ro pho tau bay. at first i was so surprised that the pho was a bit overpriced, usually its around 10 - 13 dollars. but in this place is 16 - 17 dollars, going to be honest. there are better place to get pho, this place is just okay, a bit below adverage.

nothing much about the place, as you enter the place it was really quiet. the owner greet us with a smile and shown us where to seat. not going to complain about the portion, they give you a lot of meat andbeefballs if you order pho rarebeefwithbeefballs. also the noodles was overcooked when i order my pho.
