pho tau bay has become one of my regular spots for pho with good reason! as the name of the place suggest they serve pho and pretty much only pho! thebrothhere is rich, clear and bursting with flavor! the service is super quick, once you’re seated and ordered, your food will be out in no time. this place is consistently great and has never let me down.

this place has a reputation as sydney's best pho restaurant, but i have only been here a few times as i'm not sure i agree. their pho is quickly served nice and hot in big servings but the taste of thebrothis a little different to what i am accustomed to and doesn't really live up to the hype for me.

if someone told me that pho tau bay serves the best pho in sydney, i would not blink an eye (i haven't tried pho an yet). the enormous portion of pho bo with springy rice noodles topped with succulent beef slices, onion curls, bean sprouts and lemon was meticulously prepared.

what makes the pho bo stand out is the intensity of thebrothfree of oil and my enemy (msg). hence, it is tempting for me to finish the whole bowl of pho (including the soup) in a cold, autumn night.

pho tau bay also serve other noodle soups aside from pho but there’s really nothing better than a bowl the size of your head full of both cooked and thinly sliced rare beef. my favourite part are the slippery rice noodles that you slurp with thebrothof carefully simmered beef bones, their pho taste

pho dac biet : 😊 good

so apparently pho tau bay is supposed to serve up the best pho in sydney. it’s good pho, that i can say. but if i had to be brutally honest, i’ve had better. with pho everything rests in the flavour of thebrothand i myself am a pho addict. i don’t want to disagree with others but i truly believe that, yes their pho is good, but i’ve had better. otherwise well worth the visit as there are lines that extend out of the restaurant so they must be doing something right.

my family has been coming here since i could remember. this is one of the oldest original pho eateries in cabramatta and i’d boldy dare say, it’s the best.brothis the real deal. rich and deep without being salty or oily. the flavour is like no other pho place. has a slightly more umami taste.
don’t ever change the recipe.

living around this area for quite some time you get the chance of trying multiple pho places and this one didn’t seem to stand out for me. we ordered the pho dac biet which comes in 2 sizes. the beef was cooked perfectly, not too dry and not too thick. thebrothis most important, but for me it was lacking in flavour and didn’t have enough of its essential spices.
the service should also improve.

worse pho i have ever had in my life and i’m a big pho lover. i went with my partner and 2 friends. we ordered 2 mediums and 2 larges, which came to a total of $59. what a waste of money. overrated and overpriced.

i can’t believe they were the first pho restaurant in cabramatta, opened for 38 years and still can’t make a simple broth. thebrothwas literally just plain boiling water and had no flavour or taste to it.. the staff there were rude. they approached and asked us what we wanted to eat. i asked for “chicken banh canh” and he said there’s no more chicken broth. my partner asked for chicken pho, he said there was no more chicken meat left. my friends asked for “bun bo hue” only then he said there is only beef pho left. i didn’t see the point in asking us what we wanted to eat if there was only one choice available. he was very rude and did not care about service or hospitality. will never be coming back again.

apparently this place was once awarded best pho in cabramatta so my friend and i had to check it out.it has been one of our favourite pho places ever since!!!! the prices are cheap,$11 for a bowl of flavourfuĺ pho .what a bargain+!!!! a very generous amount of beef is given which is very filling.the onions and greens give the pho a great finishing touch to the beautifulbrothand meat :)) highly recommend this pho place for hungry stomachs!!!

a small clean shop run by cantonese speaking asians, i'll cut to the chase and declare that they are damn good at what they do.

combo beef pho, tender brisket, soft tendon, generous portion, flavourful aromaticbrothwhich is not too watery but not too overpowering. lets you enjoy the pho as one rather than trying to take centre stage. served steaming hot.

fish phobrothsweeter than the beef, which came as a mild surprise to me. still quite enjoyable doused in chilli sauce and sliced chilli.

good ol viet pork chop pho, smart of them to serve the pork chop on a separate plate, made it easier for me to steal bits and pieces. juicy and succulent, properly marinated, replete with charred aroma. couldnt steal a bite from the bowl though..

fried dough stick goes well w old school black filtered coffee. not sure if viets actually have this as a breakfast staple. probably could have come from the cantonese speaking bosses' background. all the better for it. if you havent tried asian style old school black filtered coffee with dough sticks, you dont know what you are missing.

i thought it was average for the price you pay for pho and complex subtle flavours in thebrotha lot more muted compared to other restaurants in the area.

the pho here is absolutely amazing and so authentic!! i ordered a medium sized beef pho (listed first on the menu as it is the most popular) which looked huge! i loved thebrothas it was not too strong but had the meaty flavour! i loved how the pho had tripe in it which i didn't expect. really value for money and nice staff!

this place serves one of the best pho here in sydney.. the soup had a clearbrothand yet so flavourful with a perfect balance of sweet, salty and aromatic spices.. the rice noodles were perfectly cooked and silky smooth, the beef slices were tender and i personally love their meatball! it's so tender and so meaty flavourful..
pho tau bay also serves blanched beansprouts instead of the usual fresh one to go with your pho..
