pho tau bay

first time came here. i have read many good reviews on this restaurant and always wanted to try this place. i didn't wait for a seat but people after me had to wait about 10-15mins which i think its not bad.
i ordered number 1, combination beef pho which has all kinds of beef, ball, tendons etc. for garnish, they gave me boiled beansprout, basil and lemon. my pho came within 5mins.
soup was really authentic but less salty and has strong beef smell which i am not good at. if you like strong beef smell then you will like it.
overall, i like their pho, however i wish soup had bit more flavour and less smell.

grand daddy of pho , ideal place for a saturday morning post work out meal . quantity, quality are all awesome. of course they would add msg but don't be a pussycat and avoid it . clint eastwood of all the pho joints in australia.

apparently this place was once awarded best pho in cabramatta so my friend and i had to check it out.it has been one of our favourite pho places ever since!!!! the prices are cheap,$11 for a bowl of flavourfuĺ pho .what a bargain+!!!! a very generous amount of beef is given which is very filling.the onions and greens give the pho a great finishing touch to the beautiful broth and meat :)) highly recommend this pho place for hungry stomachs!!!

as we talked into the place we saw that this place was not busy, there was another restaurant that was busy next ro pho tau bay. at first i was so surprised that the pho was a bit overpriced, usually its around 10 - 13 dollars. but in this place is 16 - 17 dollars, going to be honest. there are better place to get pho, this place is just okay, a bit below adverage.

nothing much about the place, as you enter the place it was really quiet. the owner greet us with a smile and shown us where to seat. not going to complain about the portion, they give you a lot of meat and beef balls if you order pho rare beef with beef balls. also the noodles was overcooked when i order my pho.

authentic pho! i was surprised how much better it was compared to all the other pho restaurants in cabra

decided to eat pho and drop by here because of postive reviews. didnt regret at all. the pho was hot and ready to eat. i love the broth and the meat was good. the highlight of my meal was the hoi sin sauce! it seem to taste different compared to other places. i really love the sauce haha. customer service is good too. would come back for more 😊

a small clean shop run by cantonese speaking asians, i'll cut to the chase and declare that they are damn good at what they do.

combo beef pho, tender brisket, soft tendon, generous portion, flavourful aromatic broth which is not too watery but not too overpowering. lets you enjoy the pho as one rather than trying to take centre stage. served steaming hot.

fish pho broth sweeter than the beef, which came as a mild surprise to me. still quite enjoyable doused in chilli sauce and sliced chilli.

good ol viet pork chop pho, smart of them to serve the pork chop on a separate plate, made it easier for me to steal bits and pieces. juicy and succulent, properly marinated, replete with charred aroma. couldnt steal a bite from the bowl though..

fried dough stick goes well w old school black filtered coffee. not sure if viets actually have this as a breakfast staple. probably could have come from the cantonese speaking bosses' background. all the better for it. if you havent tried asian style old school black filtered coffee with dough sticks, you dont know what you are missing.

i thought it was average for the price you pay for pho and complex subtle flavours in the broth a lot more muted compared to other restaurants in the area.

yes this is the best and only place to get pho in sydney/the world so stop arguing because you're wrong so just stop and go and get yourself a big bowl of pho from the notorious ptb because it's the best and now you've learnt from your mistakes so you agree that 5/5 is the only appropriate rating and okay good i'm glad you realise these are just facts like how gravity or global warming are true things also

visited this place couple of times. i think they have the one of the best pho i've ever tasted.
great service, reasonable price too, what more can you ask?

pho tau bay back in days had the reputation of "best pho in cabramatta". decided to come back to check it out to see if it was still the best.
upon entering i noticed they have again renovated with modern decor, with air conditioning and large television. the place looked clean!
the great thing about pho tau bay is that they also give you ice tea without you even asking.
we ordered tonight pho tai and pho dac biet. let's just say both were delish! and i can safely say they still serve the best pho in cabramatta!

i have always wanted to visit cabramatta ever since hearing about the great and authentic vietnamese food available there. hubby decided to drive me there after hearing my desire, bless his heart. since then we had been numerous times, each time bringing with us a guest from perth. a real asian experience we tell them. they ended up loving the food and atmosphere there too!

we drived 40mins from sydney for the pho，and it worth！

excellent pho. i grew up in cabramatta and regularly return for the good food.

the flavour of the broth and quality of the meat is second to none and worth the hour plus journey.

not much more to say, excellent quality food.
