the beef pho was out of this world, the best vietnamese dish (let alone pho) i've had in years. i ordered the 3-type combination beef pho + large size.

if i could give this place more than 5, i would, but 5 will suffice :)

living around this area for quite some time you get the chance of trying multiple pho places and this one didn’t seem to stand out for me. we ordered the pho dac biet which comes in 2 sizes. the beef was cooked perfectly, not too dry and not too thick. the broth is most important, but for me it was lacking in flavour and didn’t have enough of its essential spices.
the service should also improve.

the soup tastes a bit different to other places and is very nice. however, the portions are somewhat smaller and prices are a bit expensive for what you get.

went there new year day. waited for about 15mins. popular restaurant.

we ordered spring rolls, beef brisket pho, pork chop. generous portioned pork chop, meat was tender and fragrant. pho has lemon grass/ginger taste at the end, some might like it, some might not.
spring rolls served hot, crispy.. yum!!

i read many reviews about the restaurant, especially people recommended pho, but most of people eating in the restaurant were actually eating prawn cake / bbq meat diy (i don’t know how you call it)

overall great! reasonable price, big portion. will definitely return.

this restaurant is super popular and we were waiting for a table for two for about 15mins.
the soup was clear and tasty. and the ingredients were fresh and decent size.

my favourite place for pho in cabramatta; i love that they sell yow char kway (fried crullers) - but only a limited quantity so you need to get there before it sells out - to go with your pho, should you feel so inclined.

i had a bowl of pho here a few years back and my thoughts were that it was so chinese. it did not resemble any of the authentic vietnamese pho. i am a pho fan and have been searching for that perfect bowl of pho. i tried pho tau bay again yesterday and my feelings were the same. if you seeks traditional pho then pho tau bay is not the right bowl for you. if you just need a good bowl of beef pho and don’t care if its authentic or not then yes it will be good enough.

no long lines compared to the place next door. cash only premise.

food presentation looks nice and bean shoots are cooked for you. a medium size pho looks like a small serving but is just the trick of the eye. flavours are ok but could be richer and provide chili oil too not just fresh chili. value for money is ok and seems standard in sydney at around $12.50.

can't get enough of this pho place. eventually getting your moneys worth of soup, noodles, vegetables and meats for almost $15 in big portions.

worse pho i have ever had in my life and i’m a big pho lover. i went with my partner and 2 friends. we ordered 2 mediums and 2 larges, which came to a total of $59. what a waste of money. overrated and overpriced.

i can’t believe they were the first pho restaurant in cabramatta, opened for 38 years and still can’t make a simple broth. the broth was literally just plain boiling water and had no flavour or taste to it.. the staff there were rude. they approached and asked us what we wanted to eat. i asked for “chicken banh canh” and he said there’s no more chicken broth. my partner asked for chicken pho, he said there was no more chicken meat left. my friends asked for “bun bo hue” only then he said there is only beef pho left. i didn’t see the point in asking us what we wanted to eat if there was only one choice available. he was very rude and did not care about service or hospitality. will never be coming back again.

i heard this place had the best pho in sydney and it certainly didn't disappoint. i frequently travel two hours to get here for their noodles, which are always prepared super fast- definitely grateful for that after the long journey.

on the pricier side when compared to other pho restaurants in cabramatta, yet not a standout place. soup bases, whilst flavoursome, lacked noticeable depth; an overall disappointment given its reputation and how highly rated it is.

the pho soup is too salty.the pork chop is just great, soft and taste good. very big portion of the the beef pho. worthy to try. this is a very busy restaurant. all dishes have been serve hot which is a good thing.
