mandatory stop on our road trips! absolutely love their spanakopita it's the best! pies are also really good,greatsnacks available for the road. i tried their carrot cake cupcakes it was amazing!!

what a pleasure to drive past and stop here when i get the chance. the apple pie is one of the best i’ve ever tasted. not too much, but not too little either. friendly service,greatcoffee and very reasonably priced with some items. definitely a stop spot if you’re heading over in george direction or coming back.

fantastic set up for if you are on the road.
food was tasty with amazing salads and breakfasts.
the shop also hasgreatthings in offer.
definitely worth the stop.

it really is agreatplace. always busy and with good reason! food is good and the fresh apple juice at the farmstall next door is fantastic.

peregrine is famous amongst the cape town roadie community for their delicious, fresh and wide selection of pies, pastries, biltong, and all those other farmstall goodies. the cafe is surrounded by beautiful greenery and agreatnursery, easily accessible just off the highway coming from sir lowry's pass. everyone knows this is a must stop - even if you don't need a pee-break or are desperate for food, you still need to get some snacks. try one of their game or chicken pies and you won't be disappointed.

en-route home from hermanus we stopped to grab pies for supper.
lovely big store, very clean and well stocked full of baked breads and goodies.
we had a chicken and mushroom pie and a steak pie. they were out of this world!
delicious meaty fillings in both andgreatpastry, not too thick, just right.
prices are very reasonable and i will definitely be back.

i heard that no trip to hermanus or elgin valley was complete with stop at peregrine cafe. the pies are freakin' amazing! we had a curried mince and a egg and bacon pie. the pasty is buttery and flakey and filling is the bomb.greatcountry stall that has grown over the years and worth coming back again and again.

one of the nicest experiences we had in the western cape apart from the da whipping the anc in the elections this week!

the scone was to die for and the cappuccino was amazing.greatservice, had to wait 5 min but the staff was amazingly friendly.

well be back!

lovely pitstop for a lunch, tea or breakfast on the long road. interior is lovely and was especially cozy not only because of the timber finish, but also the cool gas heaters.

food portions were generous, price very reasonable.
had a steak pie, which was good but i prefer my pastry flaky and light.

waiters were lacking with service delivery- not too friendly norgreatwith rem wring orders.
