great food, outdoor seating,greatlocation and service. definitely plan on coming back again.

great burgers. popped in for a late lunch on my most recent trip to dc. nice little sports pub withgreatatmosphere and attentive servers. after checking out the menu i settled in on a burger, but which one? they have agreatselection all of which start with a half-pound certified angus patty. i opted for the sunny-side-up burger which is a cheese burger with a fried egg on top.

the burger was prepared to the right temp and the combination of the melty american cheese and fried egg were perfect. the burger was huge and i enjoyed their home made chips with the burger.

great burger joint and sports pub. would recommend.

game spot.greatplace to watch a game! plenty of tvs to show multiple games, fast service, and no bratty kids messing up the adult atmosphere. i recommend the crab pizza.

pqst is the best place on earth!. the penn quarter sports tavern (pqst) is the best place in the washington dc area for sports fan and anybody else just looking for a good time. this place has awesome food and drinks, agreatatmosphere, and the staff really know how to take care of their customers. i created a seattle seahawks fan group which i was looking to find a home for. one fine sunday i happened upon the pqst and was unexpectedly greeted by matt who told me that he would love to make pqst home for the seahawks fans. he told me that he would reserve tables and tvs for us and fly our team flags. he has faithfully held up to this agreement and i have to say, i can't think of a better place with a better staff to watch sports. this place is amazing with regards to catering to groups, and they are consistently getting better and better.

cool sports bar. a much needed sports bar in the penn quarter neighborhood.greatnew led tv's to watch from the inside and outside for your viewing pleasure. pqst attracts a diverse crowd with friendly staff so it makes for a fun experience while watching a game or just hanging out with your friends.

food there is affordable and good. they've got awesome signature potato chips and homemade fried mac & cheese with a respectable beer selection at reasonable prices. i am a big fan of the leinenkugel classic amber on draft!!!

parking is not that bad as it gets later in the day, just make sure to pay the meters until 9:30pm.

overall, agreatplace to hang out with friends and have a cold one.

great local sports bar. blown away by what this local bar has to offer. food and drinks aregreatand worth the reasonable price. the staff is friendly and accommodating, except you have to seat your self, tables are first come first serve. a little difficult when they are very busy. i have watched sporting events and attended numerous happy hours here and had a blast

sports fans' dream bar. what's not to love? pq hasgreatpub food, decent prices on beer (it's still dc, after all) tons of tvs and all the college packages. plus they just put tvs on the patio, so now you can even watch games outside!

don't let its proximity to the mall fool you - this place is no tourist trap, it's a sports bar.

on the menu, i recommend you check out the chicken wings with jerk seasoning instead of buffalo sauce - you'll never look back!

went with a group of friends to watch college football on saturday- i had been before last year but this time i had a much better experience. firstly they added a ton of tvs and we were actually able to sit outside to watch our game- having this extra space made it way more comfortable than last year. we had the fried mac and cheese balls (yum) and i had a sunny side up burger which i would recommend to anyone! the loaded tots are also agreatsnack to share at the table (what could be wrong with tater tots, cheese and bacon?!?!). they have a special during games- 10 car bombs for $40... needless to say we had a good time. our waitress was attentive and we all had a good time. i definitely know where i'll be watching my team games this season!

wow! what agreatplace to watch a game!. wow! i attended my alumni chapter game watch last saturday for the first time and i was blown away! there were multiple flat screens showing our game and the atmosphere was electric. not only was the food great(try the mac & cheese balls!) but even with a huge crowd i had my food in minutes! i just moved here from dallas, where i attended my alumni game watches and it was nothing like this! from my exit across the street at the metro i saw my college flag hanging outside as well as a few others, what a way to greet a newbie to the city! not only were my fellow alums treatedgreat(decorations,greatservice, friendly) we yelled our fight song everytime we scored!!! i will be going back to penn quarter sports tavern for every game!

non-discriminating sports bar. i'm from cincinnati, and i always stop by penn quarter's when i'm visiting dc. both times i've been there has been a party for some sporting team (xavier basketball and boston hockey). all sports are always on and the rivalry between fans is friendly. the outdoor area isgreaton a nice day.

the food is typical pub food and they carry a nice selection of beer - including yeungling lager.

i look foward to going back, hopefully before a big sporting event.
