one of the best spots in austin. great, greatfood- mostly american with flare. the drinks were also superb. i also really appreciated that the waiter let us know the kitchen was a bit behind. i was even more impressed when his idea of behind was so incredibly short that i don't think it was delayed at all. don't miss the desserts!

my favorite in austin. potato gnocchi 5/5 (very unusual but awesome)

parkside is my favorite restaurant in austin due to it's upscalefoodbut laid back atmosphere. manager kevin pearce will do everything he can to insure you are happy with your experience. next time i'm in austin i will be trying more of the menu.

outstandingfoodand great service! everything we ate was fantastic! the dishes are like comfortfoodwith an upscale twist. the restaurant is a little loud because of the exposed ceilings, but we would definitely go back and would highly recommend!

very good service and food. we had dinner with 6 people on friday october 4. we were seated immediately, the wait staff was excellent and thefoodwas also very good. we all had different dishes and no one was disappointed. love the oysters!

i was at the bar and i saw the lady who makes the tartare and shuck oysters put a spoon in her mouth then makefoodwith it.i don't know about you but that is nasty.

eat elsewhere.. two words: pretentious bullies. not to mention theirfoodis way overpriced. dan mcclusky's was far superior and they didn't force their streetfoodneighbors into moving down the street.

cool place! great drinks,foodwas just ok. my salmon was fishy and the portions were small. it seems like the type of place where you have to know what to order.

read the reviews on yelp as i wondered 6th st. and tried parkside. great place. not cheesy or fake, just honestfoodand drinks. baby back ribs are different, but very good. the primo dish is the doughnut holes for desert. absolutely mind-bending! definitely worth trying.

by far the bestfoodper price in the downtown core. the tablecloth gave a very home like feel to a somewhat upscale menu. the server was spot on, timing in amazing sync with the process of eating at a restaraunt and 'upselled' with a prose which made the notion she was doing business almost invisible. all in all, top notch.

incredible meal each time we come! we just enjoyed half-price oysters and half-price sparkling wine! gotta love wednesdays! thefoodis tasty and always melts in your mouth. try the aeoli sauce with the fries and the donuts for dessert!

a shamefully long time ago now, we were invited to afoodblogger happy hour at parkside. it's shameful in one respect because i had every intention of reviewing it and it's now more than two months later. it's downright unforgivable in another respect -

bad service. the service was very slow, they tried to upsell us on every single thing they could, and thefoodjust was not great enough to make up for the dismal experience. and by the way, although their cocktail menu sounds great, it was the worst cocktail i have ever had. i think the bartender must have been new or something. it was atrocious.
