kinda downtown hangout place. their oyster menu and tenderloin were good. clean presenation of the dishes overall. apparently big on icecream/sorbe in dessert menu but i wasn't a big fan of their ice creams nor chocolate menu. not recommend wines in caraf.

excellent food and atmosphere. had a great meal.

one of the best spots in austin. great, great food - mostly american with flare. the drinks were also superb. i also really appreciated that the waiter let us know the kitchen was a bit behind. i was even more impressed when his idea of behind was so incredibly short that i don't think it was delayed at all. don't miss the desserts!

just enjoyed a marvelous dinner at parkside. great selection! the rabbit is wonderful and the selection of oysters outstanding. great experience and great moderately priced wines by the glass. should be on your list to try!!

parkside is my favorite restaurant in austin due to it's upscale food but laid back atmosphere. manager kevin pearce will do everything he can to insure you are happy with your experience. next time i'm in austin i will be trying more of the menu.

outstanding food and great service! everything we ate was fantastic! the dishes are like comfort food with an upscale twist. the restaurant is a little loud because of the exposed ceilings, but we would definitely go back and would highly recommend!

came here during their happy hour. i heard they had a great burger. when my burger arrived i was a little disappointed... it was smaller than what i'm used to. the cocktail drink i tried was really good though! cool little place to check out.

good happy hour food. the wife really dug the oyster platter, which is chef's choice. can't beat half price steak and fries. a little trendy for my taste.

very good service and food. we had dinner with 6 people on friday october 4. we were seated immediately, the wait staff was excellent and the food was also very good. we all had different dishes and no one was disappointed. love the oysters!

everyone has their favorite restaurants in austin, but parkside consistently ranks at the top for many locals. 6th street is usually not equated with a romantic date, but parkside has some of the

parkside brings their "a" game to 6th street. party of one promptly seated by a very nice hostess. server by the name of trip is one of the most pleasant i can remember. so many choices on the menu so i described what i was looking for and trip nailed it. i spacifically asked for small raw oysters. he suggested the caraquets. they were indeed small but had an incredible flavor. the calamari was also very good. ask for trip by name!

moving on to drinks. my first inclination that the bloody mary i ordered was going to be exceptional was the care taken in the garnishment. this is not your typical mix. just the right amount of spice. this incredible drink was crafted by kara. i'm from out of town and the only reason i know her name is i got up and asked her. if there are bloody mary's in heaven i'm pretty sure she will be making them. parkside gets my best recommendation.

fascinating and diverse menu. be a little daring with your order and you will not regret it. the raw zucchini salad is excellent. the hill country rabbit is unique and worth a try if you want something different.

so dissapointed! i came here for resturant week and realized i will never come again. the fish appetizer tasted like i was eating salt. next i had pasta with 4 shrimp. let's just say i've had better pasta at olive garden. save your money and go somewhere else.
