this is my popular choice when i need to try assamese food. though the options for dining in an assamese restaurant has drastically increased in the recent times, yet this place, being one of the oldest of the lot, remains a popular choice. the food is good and decently priced. you can find so many options to pick from. i have been to this place a couple of times, and don't remember of even one instance when i had been disappointed. if you are a true foodie, you would love the non veg thali there.

• food - good not best

• ambiance – nice

• service – okay

paradise.. fimiliar with this name since i was a kid, been there with my family.but its was way back when i didn’t had the taste bud like i do now. went there with full of expcetation, around 1-2pm orderd a non veg thali which was obvious at that time.its was moderately crowded, there were three guys siping some alocholic drink along with their launch and another middle-aged couple.order was served after 15-20 minutes which was okay.. but got disappointed by tasting the thali, it was just a regular thali available everywhere these days.no extra taste that worth mentioning. expected more from a brand like this.

really really disappointed by what i got that day, they need to improve on their service too along with the taste of the thali.. not recommended if u are looking for good taste,.

full marks. i have been to parampara many a times. the quality of the food i awesome. as they serve the assamese dishes as khar, tenga etc. so it is always special to be in here. and one more thing the assamese songs of dr. bhupen hazarika, jayanta hazarika and others are added flavour to the food.

i love this place as long as i can remember. always surprises me, there ca ln be many authentic assamese eating joints but this place has always impressed me with the taste. the only downside is that the thalis are not unlimited, so if you are really hungry you hav to pay more. but the thalis have enough for a decent filling. the sitting area is also decently set up with a view outside on one side.
the veg thali is worth it, to explore the assamese vegetarian food options. in non-veg i always like to order mutton and chicken combo, mutton is better if i hav choose between the two.

visit to absorb the authentic and traditional experience of assam on a platter. their speciality includes the parampara thali. all the items were lovely, especially the duck curry.

the chicken prepared within bamboo shoot was delicious too, a must try with tawa paratha.

in the desserts, mishti doi is highly recommended. a mixture of puffed rice, cream and jaggery syrup was definitely trying too.

heard a lot about it from my relatives and went there with much enthu for lunch with my cousin. authentic assamese cuisine after a long time. i was quite impressed with the ambience and feel but i was disappointed with the food. we took the parampara thaali and vyanjan thali. the welcome drink was some hot amla drink which we could not gulp even a sip. there was steamed fish inside banana leaf which was so tasteless and they forgot the white ingredient called salt in that. except the tangy fish curry and the kharoli and chutney, everything was below average. i wish they do better in future.

i visited this place yesterday with a few friends of mine. its a big restaurant with good interior and the sitting arrangement was quite good. we ordered non-veg thali. the thali was well decorated but after talking a bite of the food i realised that the taste was very flat. the fish curry was not at all good, even the chicken curry was very poor. i was very disappointed with their food. only the "payesh" was good, other than that every thing was poor in taste.

when i first went there it was a new restaurant, just opened and provided one of the best authentic assamese thalis in guwahati. but, gradually, they failed to maintain the place because it sure needs renovation and also the quality of food and service deteriorated. last time when i went there, that was nearly two years ago they took so long to serve that i had no interest in the food anymore and they charged for anything extra you took.

not much option to choose from. hilsa is seasonal but not mentioned. individual items are so much expensive. not an ideal place to have food.
