meh. i read all the glowing reviews and had to give it a try. i suppose i like the neighborhood flavor and the characters that work there. but there is really nothing special about the pizza. it was fine, nothing wrong with it. it's just ordinary. one thing i found odd was that if youordervegetables on the pizza, they don't bake it with them, they put the vegetables on once the pizza is done. frankly, i don't think the pizza is much better than little caesar's, certainly not worth what they charge. the garlic knots weren't much to write home about either.

while i'm always on the quest for great food, pizza always has a very special place in my heart. papa angelo's uses a very simple method for their business, cut the crap and just make great pizza!

these guys are from long island, so we share a similar views on pizza, and conversation. if you tell papa you like his pizza don't be surprised if he snaps back saying "whaddo i care!?" (although he's really a sweet old man). this is the type of place where you don't justordera pie, but you get to know the family as well.

the pizza ranks about 7-7.5 out of 10. for me this is a fairly high rating, similar to what i would give most ny pizzeria's i grew up with (this is a good thing). one of the great things about papa's is you can always expect to get the same great pizza every time you come in. i've never had a pizza at papa angelo's that didn't taste as good as the last time i visted.

this level of consistency, plus their great neighborhood location (right next to our church) allows me to have great ny pizza anytime i want. in oklahoma you can't ask for much better than that!!

hands down the best pizza in the oklahoma city area.  whether you go during lunch andorder"by the slice" or in the evening andordera whole pizza, we've never been disappointed.  it's not a 5-star restaurant, but it's really good pizza.

very good local pizza. ...but i have one criticism: not nearly enough sauce. even when iorderextra sauce, it's still so thin it's barely there. more pizza sauce, guys!

great pizza - try the empire supreme. had trouble getting the entireorder- ended up getting our garlic knots to go after reminding them again. the pizza is truly great though. willorderto go instead of dine in - employees were a bit surly with a couple of the other customers.

great pizza. i wanted to update my review. their pizza is very good!!! especially if you like canadian bacon. we called ahead toorder7 pizzas for a birthday party, and it was excellent! i would suggest going here before going to any 'chain' restaurant, there is not much seating, so it is preferrable toorder'to go'

their pizza is really good, and the owners are friendly. its nice to see a non-chain in this area.

just ordered white pizza add canadian bacon and 1 pepperoni. this food is terrible. first, these two medium pizzas cost me a staggaring 28 bucks. secondly, these pizzas not good. th white pizza everyone here says is good is like literally biting into a clove of garlic. now, i absolutely love garlic and garlicky things, but this was way to much. we didn't see anything garlic pieces... dunno what that's about. the "canadian bacon" looked like pepperoni. but since i also got a pep pizza j knew that wasn't the case. it's obv bought in a baggy at the store. pepperoni pizza and white trash pizza were both hot and both were very greasy(just like everyone said) even pizzinis is better and they are not good all. but i'dorderthem over this and i'd be saving 15 bucks. call pizza house in may ave and try their alfrdo pizza. they are amazing and no one knows it. if you keep giving people this...stuff...they will go under in 3 months.

favorite pizza. joey knows how to make a good pizza! his father red makes the meatballs for the pizza and they are amazing! i love toordermeatball and onion. you can't beat it especially for the price.
