bravo. most excellent pizza. thecrustis delicious, the cheese is fresh and very good. all just melts in your mouth. mine is watering just thinking about it. best pizza i've had in a very long time. can't wait to visit again.

had the lunch special. two slices of pizza and a drink for $5.25?! yes, please!

ordered pepperoni for one and sausage for the other. these are fairly large slices of pizza (at least for me) so i was fairly full at 1 1/2 slices. i will say that if you're looking for a pizza with a lot of sauce, this isn't it. but i like it that way. i was able to taste the cheese and pepperoni too. cheese was nice and stringy! sausage on the pizza was flavorful. i liked thecrusttoo, it wasn't really thick but it also wasn't paper thin. i'm normally not acrusteater but i ate thecrustbecause it had flavor. i will warn you that the pepperoni makes the pizza greasy so if you're a napkin dabber (why), you'll most likely dab this pizza. as for me, i want all the grease! haha.

anyways, great deal. delicious pizza. will be back again.

was not very impressed. my bro thought it looked like a "tony's" frozen pizza with all the olives on it . we ordered the empire supreme there was way too much topping in it. made thecrustsoggy. where was the sauce?? i sure didn't taste any. maybe i'll try just a 1 topping next time just to give them another chance. have to give the a 2 star rating until next time

i used to eat at papa angelos, when it was in a different location, back in the late 1990's and i remember it being pretty good.  i've been planning to go back and try it again and finally made it over there today. 

my first impression of the pizza was disappointment.  the toppings were on top and it didn't appear that there was even any cheese on it at all.  when i took the first bite i decided thecrustwas pretty good but as i got further into the slice, disappointment set it.  

we ordered a supreme and the amount of meat and cheese on the pizza was absolutely pathetic.  it was literally like eating a pizzacrustwith onions, mushrooms, black olives and green peppers scattered around the center of it.  there were a few pepperoni slices around the outside edges and some hint that there might be some sauce there.  

if you like a lot of sauce on your pizza, don't bother ordering extra because they will just ignore it and basically put no sauce on there.  that, accompanied by the lack of cheese and meat made this a bland, boring and disappointing pizza.  to make it worse, the price was comparable to hideaway!   the $8 dollar large supremes i get from all american pizza were far superior to the pizza at papa angelos. 

we also ordered garlic knots, which i remembered being very good.  they were crispy on the outside and soft and doughy in the middle.  yuck!

finally, my wife got iced tea from the self-serve beverage center and she kept finding little bugs in her cup.  something like fruit flies or something.

all in all, we were very disappointed.  the pizza wasn't horrible, despite all of my complaints about it, but it was way, way, way overpriced and completely lacking in toppings.  if this is an example of "new york style" pizza, they can keep it.

joke. i was born and raised in the northeast. spent time in ny, nj, nh, ct, ri and this isnt anything like a true italian pizzeria from back east. im italian, been cooking italian food since i was 8 and i could make a better pizza in half the time at half the cost from a generic house oven. their dough is ok, but not as thin as it should be and not correctly cooked. theircrustisnt good and their sauce...joke. ive only been there twice, first time they had almost no sauce on the pie....second time i went there i asked for extra sauce, the guy made a sarcastic comment to the likes of, do you want just all sauce or something to that nature...until you buy my pie for me...make it how i want it. thanks. btw, i dont go back cause i make my own. i do however go to falcones when i dont have the time nor will to make one myself, its better.

great pizza. the pizza is awesome, soft but crispycrustand the sauce if perfect. always cooked to perfection. the lunch special keeps me coming in too! filling meal for a good price.

you have to be kidding. okay, i really love pizza, and i'm usually pretty forgiving about the various kinds of toppings, flavors and crust. this was the first pizza in recent memory that i really didn't eat.

thecrustwas so soggy that i scraped the toppings off, added some parmesan and ate that. (i was hungry) the toppings included some canned mushrooms that resembled mildly flavored rubber.

most urbanspoon ratings are fairly reliable, but this is a pitiful excuse for pizza.

wow!. this is the second time i have had a pizza here and it is even better than the first time. i love the texture and crispness of thecrustand the delicious garlic and parmesian flavor of the cheese. fantastic! will be back again!

love this place .. awesome thincrustpizza .. i like in bethany and this is by far one of my fav pizza joints for lunch!

among the best in okc. real cheese, thecrustis short some seasoning to be excellent, the toppings are quality, could stand to use a few more toppings especially for the money.

reminds me somewhat of pizza i ate regularly years ago made by a man named victor from sicily. he came from a long line of pizzeria owners and commanded a large loyal following.

overall for me, it's among the best in okc.

heard a good recommendation for pa's but was greatly disappointed. thecrustwas lackluster to say the least. the toppings weren't even cooked! onions/bell peppers/ and mushrooms right from the can. a total let down.

update. okay. i said i was willing to go back, try the pizza and rethink my "don't like it" vote. i did just that. the pizza is great. their 2-slice and a drink special is a winner.

i'll stand by my thumbs down on the eggplant but the pizza is good enough to change my vote.

the sauce has enough well balanced herbs to stand up to a very cheesy pizza. never thought i'd say go easy on the mozzarella but a little lighter hand with the cheese could make this pie sing.

oct., 09: if anything pizza was better this visit.crustwas very good and crisp and chewy at the same time, sauce the same which was great, lighter hand with the cheese. all for $4 for two large slices and a 16-oz drink.

not so much. i know, i know! what was i thinking! they're known for their pizza and i ordered the eggplant. seemed it had been frozen, reheated, then served in the aluminum container placed on a plate.

while the sauce was good the eggplant was the worse for the wear. no bread no salad.

i'm willing to try the pizza and rethink my vote.
