great views.nicespot out of the southerly wind and overlooking the boats and harbour area, seating available inside and out, very casual with a dog tied up on the corner of the eating area (which didn't bother us). we went there for lunch. food not so flash, drinks wereniceand cold:), staff were friendly but a bit front bar material ie takes my straw out of my glass at the table then puts it into my new drink. meals came out all at once after i asked for the oysters to come first, i would go back for the view but i wouldn't eat. such a shame it could of been a lot better.

called in for oysters after we arrived from mr. very fresh oysters. like most of wa you need to go up to bar to order- we finally are getting it that table service is only in restaurants. we also had gf calamari- veryniceas well. ambience on the water is no doubt very positive as well.

hubby and i really enjoyed it here. small comfortable place withniceview, and great staff and food. it was a coolish night but with the heaters it was really comfortable. they also had the cricket on which pleased the hubby. we started with a dozen of thai and natural oysters and they were reallyniceand fresh (good time of year for them though). had a hearty dinner at the the grill next door then came back for the caviar, and thai oysters again- thai especially recommended if you like coriander, mint lime etc. also had a reallyniceevans and tate chardonnay. if you see this place and even have a small appetite, give it a go!

beautiful :). great food , we ate here tonight ,niceand relaxing location , great view , service top notch very polite , friendly , happy ,nicepeople . we ordered soft shell crab with asian salad($20) and 6 oysters with smoked salmon and sour cream($17) , firstly the crab was beautifully cooked and well presented , came outniceand hot straight from the kitchen , very tasty and very enjoyable , the asian salad was delicious and freshly made to order . the oysters with smoke salmon and sour cream were beyond exceptation and just devine , we had to order another doz , ate them just as beautiful , had to order another dozen !! wow they were the best oysters we've had in years , this place is a winner :) enjoy :)

we choose the oyster bar for valentines day. ordered. fish and chips for me. dozen oyster and greek salad. glass of pepsi and sparkling wine. $84. dinner arrived. greek salad with no feta or olives. it was in fact very much like a packet of pew packed salad from coles with some dressing on top. oyster were ordered gluten free. they came out natural with a piece of smoked salmon on top. however they were warm and not at all well presented. mr fish and chips was very average with shoestring fries and a small piece of fish. batter was not one to go back for. me side salad looked exactly like the greek salad. the place was busy with couple music ok. however if you want to eatniceoyster i would defiantly not recommend this bar come restaurant.

beautiful location..... the location is spot on, so i took a group of friends from work for a lovely winter afternoon with food and drink catching up out of work.
as others have said the decor is simple, you order at the till and take your own drinks over, which i have no problem with but when spending $100s over an afternoon we would have expected the staff to be a little mo friendly and as a group who work within the law did not appreciate a member of staff making up fake laws and quoting laws wrongly to try and make his point.
lovely view but plenty of other bars nearby withniceviews and nicer staff.

not an oyster bar. went there xmas eve with some friends for a few drinks and oysters, well the oysters weren't at all good,we ordered kilpatrick as there always a fav but they were terrible ,with big square chunks of what looked like processed ham not bacon and not grilled i think they were microwaved, then there was a moray with spinach ,niceidea but the oyster was so small you had to dig deep to find it. the natural and thai werenicebecause they didn't have to do anything with those except pour a dressing over the thai ones, but they were also very small, and as for the other tappers we ordered everything came out of a deep fryer. verynicevenue and view staff were also great so maybe they should put a chef in there.

relaxing drinks and nibbles. such a great place to go on a warm afternoon to relax with a bottle or two of wine and have some great nibbles. panko prawns, prawn balls with salsa inside nad chili lime oysters were all great. could have stayed there all afternoon eating and drinking. the deck is very shady, which will be great on a really hot day. love waching all the boats go by and the place was quite busy so had anicevibe to it.

great reputation already andnicemenu but my wife unable to eat there because no gluten free options. very unusual and disappointing for a modern resteraunt.
