great views. nice spot out of the southerly wind and overlooking the boats and harbour area, seating available inside and out, very casual with a dog tied up on the corner of the eating area (which didn't bother us). we went there for lunch. food not so flash, drinks were nice and cold:), staff were friendly but a bit front bar material ie takes my straw out of my glass at the table then puts it into my new drink. meals came out all at once after i asked for the oysters to come first, i would go back for the view but i wouldn't eat. such a shame it could of been a lot better.

fantastic place. please ignore mark's review - april 2013. iwas there that night and mark and his girlfriend were absolutlely drunk, caused huge problemas and were quite rightly asked to leave, to the huge relief of evryone else there. the oyster bar staff dealt with a tricky situation with great tact and style. as for mark not coming back........all the locals hope that's true.
the oyster bar is a terrific place. the food is only 'ok' but the beer is excellent, the wine probably the best value in manduarh and the service excellent. i would reccomend the oyster bar to any visitors to mandurah.

we tried a selection of oysters, chorizo with feta and olives, and some sweet potato wedges, the oysters were pretty tasty but the best flavour was kilpatrick. the wedges were crunchy and super tasty. the chorizo and feta was okay but i’ve had better.

exactly as it is called. an oyster bar. good selection of ways to cook your temporary friends. we had thai style (herbs, soy, chilli, fish sauce). a little bit underwhelmed by the size of the oyster as it was almost non existent behind the herbs and sauce. perhaps a seasonal issue. good view of the opulent mandurah waterways and lovely wine list to suit ... daily specials too on drinks and oysters.

went to the mandurah oyster bar on a wednesday night to get the discount food. had the mixed (errol flynn)
tray of kilpatrick, thai and caviar, followed up with crumbed haloumi and a hummus dip. all deliver great flavour and were presented and delivered rapidly to our table. not really a complaint (just a fact of life) but the place got really noisy quite early. hope to be back soon.

nice waterfront views. oysters were as fresh as they can be - especially loved the thai. grazing plate was so-so. pavlova can be easily forgotten.

we used to drive down to mandurah once a week, from the northern suburbs of perth, to sit on the jetty and demolish 7 or 8 dozen oysters.

recently we found that all the oysters have broken shell through them. when we complained to the staff (lady with an english accent) she said " yeah i know, everyone has been saying that"

there was no offer of a replacement or any sort of solution.

we normally spend $400 - $500 a week here, but won't return, there is no point when you can't eat the only product they are known for.

called in for oysters after we arrived from mr. very fresh oysters. like most of wa you need to go up to bar to order- we finally are getting it that table service is only in restaurants. we also had gf calamari- very nice as well. ambience on the water is no doubt very positive as well.

went for lunch at the oyster bar today, a smallish compact restaurant with a great location overlooking the water. firstly there is no waiter service for ordering (really at these prices), one has to 'pub it' and order the drinks and food at the counter, and come back with one of those numbers on a stand. we ordered two salads from the specials menu, one salad came out first by 5-8 minutes,  obviously kitchen cannot coordinate the prep and delivery of 2 salads simultaneously. mine was so so, it amounted to two slices of smoked salmon  (bloodline included), divided on four slices of toasted baguette, on which was some cream cheese, with a garnish of chives....$16.  is that value...would or could you pay that in melbourne.

after looking around the net on the best eats in mandurah, oyster bar popped up and this was the first one on my list to visit. providing it's a monday night, quite. few people were outside enjoying the scenic dinner. service was efficient and genuine considering the skeleton staff. seems like the staff are actually happy to be there. the food came out pretty quickly and it did not fail our tastebuds. my girls said they definitely enjoyed the squid. i will drive to go to this oyster bar from perth after the holidays as it was a really enjoyable experience

lovely staff. unfortunately they were caught off guard for a crazy busy wed night and became an oyster bar that ran out of oysters. they however managed to serve us until close time

nice happy hour beer prices! and beautiful vibe by the jetty.
