i chose this place because of it’s 4.6 rating but the food did not match the rating.
we ordered basil cottage cheese sticks, chicken mince burger and a rush of mush. i would say that the food was above average. there was absolutely no flavour of basil and hardly any seasoning in the basil cottage cheese sticks, the chicken mince burger was good but i won’t go back to this place just for the burger and lastly rush of mush was again average and it sure should not be a part of thesteaksection.

i am a vegetarian andsteaklover so that leaves you with few options only. i was surprised to see how much variety this place had for veg steaks and almost all of them taste really good. i have tried multiple. also their pastas are really good as well.

had a lot of expectations coming here - to have a good piece of steak. it really was bad. the sauce was okay, the cook on the meat was bad - ordered a medium rare but got something that needed some more time to be one. we had ordered a chickensteakas well, which was equally disappointing. no parking facilities. will not be returning here

this is a meat lovers paradise! the beststeakin this part of the world. to make up for the quality of supply, they have perfected the cuts, the tenderness and cooking.

absolutely try the ribs and the steaks!!

the good thing about this place is it’s close to home and they have impeccable service. all points for service, however the food is just disappointing. the steaks are thin and chewy, desserts are ok. i ordered a fishsteakwhich was under in the centre. the owner is quite sweet though, he took the feedback graciously and insisted that we have a free dessert.

i have visited the place multiple times and it's one of my favorite place to eat steak. captain jack's special is a must try. i didn't like the chef specialsteakpan fried rice though. the burgers are good not great.

one of beststeakplalces in bangalore. best chickensteakhands down, also garlic chicken sizzler is worth it. beefsteakwas decent too. worth with zomato gold.

love this place! it’s our primary option when it comes to steaks! my personal favourite is the honey mustard sauce. the steaks are perfectly cooked and service is on the spot. super cool manager/owner as well to guide you through the menu. i would definitely recommend this place to all thesteaklovers out there.

a very beautiful place amongst the chaos of hsr layout.
the ambience was perfect. the staff were very polite and courteous. and music that was played was just right for the occasion.

i ordered the 'honey mustard pork' and 'the what's atsteakchicken'.
both the dishes were very good, but the pork stood out. it was cooked to perfection. really good cuts of meat, great portions and such soft meat.
the chicken was cooked perfectly again, and the taste was very new. very unlike the convectionalsteakhouses.

truly, this place must be the connoisseur ofsteakhouses. a must try for allsteaklovers.

although, i definitely feel that the taste of the rice can be improved.

all in all, have to say that thissteakhouse must be one the best, if not the best in bangalore.

one of the best stakes i've ever had. jack daniels steak, honey chilli chicken steak, and dont really remember the name but an extra spicy chickensteakjust tastes really good. the quantity in which they serve is more than enough you are hungry and you entered this place. i'm sure you will be full. the taste is too good. more than enough sides provided with the steamist try if you live steak. good ambience and reasonable price. defenetly a must try restaurant.

one of the most delicioussteakever. i have tried a lot of places forsteakbut nothing can beat once upon a flame.
before going there i checked few reviews and everyone was gushing about their mashed potatoes. it is really amazing, it just melts in your mouth.
the staff is courteous, sometimes the owner comes down and asks if there's any change to be done.
it's very clean, ambience is good, overall a very nice peaceful place.
and you can avail your zomato gold as well.

the place is perfect forsteaklovers. we had a couple of steaks - one beef and one chicken. both the steaks had all the elements perfectly made, including the mashed potatoes. the good thing about once upon a flame is that they offer you a choice in the cooking style - you can get a rare cooked to full cooked steak. and the sauces are unlimited. in case you happen to slurp off the sauce, ask them for more! the ambience is cozy, medium lit, soft 80s english music, nothing loud. 5 stars for a perfect time!

loved every bit of it..we ordered jack daniel chicken sizzler, shrimp in mushroom sauce , and fish fingers ..everything tasted super awesome..highly recommended..if you are asteaklover ,its a must visit..
