i chose this place because of it’s 4.6 rating but thefooddid not match the rating.
we ordered basil cottage cheese sticks, chicken mince burger and a rush of mush. i would say that thefoodwas above average. there was absolutely no flavour of basil and hardly any seasoning in the basil cottage cheese sticks, the chicken mince burger was good but i won’t go back to this place just for the burger and lastly rush of mush was again average and it sure should not be a part of the steak section.

the good thing about this place is it’s close to home and they have impeccable service. all points for service, however thefoodis just disappointing. the steaks are thin and chewy, desserts are ok. i ordered a fish steak which was under in the centre. the owner is quite sweet though, he took the feedback graciously and insisted that we have a free dessert.

if i could have given this place 10 stars..i would have done it. this place deserves every praise. thefoodis really worth it with the prices not being sky high. on my day, the soup of the day was cream of spinach and let me tell you i was very apprehensive about it. but after i tasted it i was so happy i ordered it. we took a non veg platter and dishes of chicken, pork and beef. each one of them was superb. i will definitely revisit this place. thumbs up!

wholesome and delicious chicken steaks. mashed potatoes to die for. thanks for delivering thefoodin record time (16mins). thanks for the personalized note and complimentary chocolate rum mousse. it was excellent. thanks!

this restaurant should be known for its goodfoodand service. the quality offoodwhich is been served is excellent and delicious. although the quantity is just right as compared to cost, but upon request, the management had served extra rice along with sizzler. warm gestures of management towards customer made me give five star ⭐️ review to this restaurant

i'm a continentfoodlover. so this is one of my favourite place in bangalore. the quality, quantity of the foods are really good. the staffs are also very friendly..love this place

absolutely delicious sizzlers, steaks and burgers! went for dinner with my family. the host was especially charming and made an effort to make my 2 year old niece feel very comfortable and happy! they even made some specificfoodto order for her!

i've had theirfoodboth dining in and delivered at home, and they are one of the very few places still maintaining quality over time. indo continental chicken is a finely balanced dish with a lovely blend of spices. loved it.

i'm a regular at this place. love everything about it. thefood( to die for) the ambience, the staff. makes for a great evening out with friends, to laugh and talk over some brilliant food.

i personally love this place and thefoodhits all the right spots!
came here for my birthday and i can safely say that it was well worth it.
removed 1 start because the ambience was average and i wasn't too fond of the chairs or the seating arrangement.
otherwise a super place for a quality meal!
great portions, great flavours!

once upon a flame by far has to be my most favourite steak house in bangalore! located in hsr layout, this place makes one feel like home with thefoodserved!

from the juiciest steaks (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) to the creamiest mash potatoes to one of the best rum-infused chocolate mousse, this place surely is heavenly!

fun fact- the place is filled with cool posters of movie titles that have been creatively changed to match thefoodserved. the sauce for the sizzlers and steaks can be customised to one's preference. they also have posters in the restrooms so one can never get bored at this place!

2. cajun spiced, crumb fried chicken strips

'once upon a flame' has been my go to comfort place whenever i am in a mood for steak. the service,foodoptions, pricing and hospitality in general is what brings me here time and again. the taste has stayed consistent even post lockdown. do visit them if you are around hsr.

very tastyfoodespecially their steak and salads are awesome. lots of "must try" dishes. car parking is an issue though. park inside hsr bda and walk. it's very near.
ps: go for the manager/staff's suggestions. they know how to make delicious food. 😊😊
