the number one thing i can commend on ombu is the service of their manager! super pleasant and helpful. she really goes around serving the guests and asks how their food is. we had a few concerns, all which she handled really well. as for the food, i liked their adobochon the most! didn’t really taste the “adobo” part, but good nonetheless! the meat was tender and the skin super crispy and flavorful! i liked the sauce too. also tried their grilled squid which had a more vinegar-y taste rather than a inihaw flavor which would just be up to preference, but i much prefer having the inihaw flavor when it comes to squid. ordered the strawberry vinaigrette salad which is a very simple salad with lettuce, mangoes, tomatoes, and onions. taste was very light and fresh. for dessert, we got the tres leches halo-halo and frozen mango brazo which were good, but not wow.
