weordereda lot for 4 pax bec 3 of us has zomato gold n we were trying how affordable would it be to order a lot n enjoy good food.
we ordered
1. binacol- it was good. we all loved it.
2. chicken skin- best i have tried
3. three times cooked crispy pata - it was kind of dry.
4. kare kare beef- it was good
5. gising gising- not so great
6. flaming chicken- the chicken is tender n tasty. its higly recommended by the waitress.
7.halo halo.. one regular with ube ice cream n ice cream with tres leches flavor on the shaved ice. that was yummy.. it wasn’t so sweet either. everyone should try it
7. frozen brazo de mercedes- yummy as well.

go try this place. service was great.

i came here ordering only the salted eggs spaghettini. i must say, i really liked it. it's not for everyone though. if you're not a fan of salted eggs nor salty food then is is definitely not for you. this is definitely what i can consider a modern filipino dish. i alsoorderedthe mais con yelo and its nothing special. the ambiance was night as there were not a lot of people. the staff were nice and accommodating too.

this is the first time we dine in this restaurant. it is my turn to treat my colleagues during my birthday and we were looking for a restaurant that we have not yet tried and is near our office, so we chose ombu.

weorderedfried calamares, sisig, beed kare-kare, crispy glazed chicken, and salted egg tempura. my favorite dish is their salted egg tempura - must try! :)

the staffs were nice and accommodating. they gave us slices of cake and even sing a birthday song to us, since 2 of us have a birthday that time. :d

dined here last night for my graduation celebration. we booked our table a day before and they are very accommodating. for merienda weorderedpancit guisado, tres leches halo halo, brewed coffee, cafe latte, molo soup and salad. then for dinner weorderedgarlic rice, adobochon, salisbury bistek tagalog, garlic chicken, grilled liempo, pinakbet, pancit guisado, and house blend iced tea. every dish is really delicious, tasteful, tender, good presentation, and not bland. their service is great, they have nice and friendly staffs. i love the ambiance here. everyone in my family loved our dining experience.

first, i loved how they wrapped their utensils—the plate, spoon, fork and table napkin in a plastic labeled that it’s been sterilized already. the waiting time was a little longer than usual but worth it. the calamares paired with sweet chili sauce was light and crispy and it had good flavor. the gising gising was very fresh. the beans were very crispy, the flavor of the ginisa and coconut milk were spot on and the spice was the cherry on top! the sisig was also good! loved the egg, the cheeks and the laman. all in all the dining experience was good—not to mention that it was contactless.orderedand paid through the app.

an underrated restaurant in qc. too sad that ombu has only 2 branches.

weorderedcrispy pata, bulalo soup and frozen brazo. the crispy pata's skin is crunchy and chicharon-like while its meat fell off the the bones. same through with the bulalo. meat was so tender and flavorful.

service is excellent. aside from the food, the excellent service is what keeps us coming back to the place.

6/5 - service. very attentive and good service received (shout out to angel).

4/5 - good serving size. good food. weorderedflaming chicken, adobochon, salmon sinigang and dilis rice. salmon sinigang was so so, the rest were good.

we tried this restaurant located at the ground floor of sequoia hotel at mother ignacio corner timog avenue in quezon city. upon entering the place, you'll feel the homey atmosphere thru its chic interior and the warm greetings of their staffs.

ombu kusina offers wide range of delicious filipino dishes, mostly fusion of flavors to surprise your taste buds. what weorderedwere mix of shrimp, crab meat, onion and lemongrass wrapped in taro leaves and slightly cooked in light coconut milk (seafood mix laing), savoury spring chicken with varous spices, cooked sous vide and served flaming (flaming chicken), chopped pork mixed with onions and chilies (sizzling pork sisig), and lightly flavored fried rice topped with crispy anchovies (dilis rice). we also compliment our dishes with refreshing calamansi and buco juice with cutesy baby umbrella accent.

overall, our dining experience were superb as ombu gave what we were expecting; unique menu, sumptuos meals, fine dining, mod atmosphere, and prompt service.

you can also enjoy 1+1 on food every time you dine in at ombu kusina thru your zomato gold. they are open from 6:30am to 10:30pm, all days of the week.

kare kare - loved it! i think they really made their peanut butter from scratch 😊 it's not overpowering. just the right taste. their bagoong was also good.

flaming chicken -orderedthis because it's their best seller. we think it's just ok. :) not extra ordinary in taste but preparation-wise, i think they did their best. :)

really love the service. each and every one of their staff was attentive, patient, welcoming, and accomodating. i wish every restaurant would have the same service as this one!

had such a pleasant time here!

first thing i noticed was how friendly the staff were, we received a greeting from each of the staff members present in the room and there were like 7 of them, some even across the room!

the food was also served in time and more importantly, it was quite excellent! weorderedthe hungarian sausage and the ombu chicken and both were delicious. my i think that my favorite from that visit was their hot chocolate, simple but great.

definitely 13/10 would recommend!

ate here for the 1st time andorderedtheir ombu chicken and binakol soup. they were both great! they flamed the chicken and the sauces we're just so flavorful 😊 will definitely visit again and try their other foods

we had a great time at our visit to ombu kusina. the place was almost empty and we were served quickly. weorderedbeef kare-kare, gising-gising, flaming chicken, and sisig pizza. the kare-kare looked so nice that we started eating as soon as it was served— we didn’t even get to take a picture. the kare-kare was my favorite but we literally had to look for the beef because there wasn’t much. the gising-gising was also really good that it made me eat vegetables, it was a hit with my dad. the creamy tres leches halo-halo was a great ending to the sumptuous meal. will be sure to visit again to try the other things on the menu!

the waiters are really friendly, respectful and accommodating. we really do appreciate that the chef personally apologized and explained to us that ourorderedpizza came out substandard so they had to make a new one. overall, food is really great along with the ambience and the warm service. 10/10 would go eat there again. 👌

went here because of their zomato gold promo, but after our visit, we realized that this is one of those places where you'd go to with / without promos. weorderedcrablets, laing, sizzling sisig, and tokwa't baboy. the meals were very affordable and sulit with the sisig and the crablets as my personal favorite. one meal would actually already suffice for 1-2 people. the crablets were filled and a bit fat as compared to those that were typically served in other restos. they were very crispy on the outside and the vinegar that came with it was yummy. the sisig was very tasty and even a small bite was already very flavorful!

the restaurant was nice and was not that packed (we went on a tuesday night). the tables were spacious and the seats were clean and comfortable. the staff were also very respectful and very attentive to all our requests. 

this is a must-try restaurant.

the food is so amazingly delicious! and the place is nice and comfotable. perfect for a good dine out with family or a date, cause you wont be embarassed with the food.

weorderedall meat pizza and flaming chicken (literally flamed!). the all meat pizza is a thin crust pizza and filled with sausages and chorizo. it comes with sour cream/mayo. its is good. the flaming chicken is kinda sweet and savory the same time.

definitely will recommend for you to try! :)
