old spaghetti factory

yummy!. good atmosphere, great food, large portions. the spaghetti with mizithra cheese and mushroom sauce is delicious, but i thought the lasagna was a little too chef-boyardee. the house salad is also great.

i would have to agree with the other reviewers that you can't go wrong with the prices. but don't expect too much with the food and service. the spicy spaghetti i ordered was not spicy at all rather lacking in flavour. the bread and minestrone soup was decent.

great value. how can you go wrong; good food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.

consistent and always enjoyable. i have enjoyed osf's in honolulu, boston, atlanta, and now louisville. the interior decorations and fun seating (inside trolley cars) is always entertaining for kids. i love the pot pourri plate (4 sauces on plate of spaghetti) and then the spumoni for dessert. i recently found out that they sell a bag of mizithra cheese that you can take home with you. i was able to replicate the delicious brown butter and mizithra cheese plate at home...amazing! we will always try this out when we find one in a new city.

awful.. just awful!. i recommend their coctails. although very good i cant say the same for their food. my girlfriend and i tried the calamari, which was okay. i ordered a steak which came with spaghetti and side salad. the side salad was brought to me on the smallest plate ever! i couldnt mix my dressing in i had to ask for a bowl to make things easier! when i recieved my steak, i was dissapointed. it looked like a crappy end piece with gristle eeverywhere. difficult to cut through and chew. though it tasted okay. they need a new chef in the kitchen. badly.

good atmosphere, great food and prices. waitress was helpful and friendly. overall great meal.

food good but poor presentation. caesar salad was very good. ice cream was icy, but it's included. overall good meal.

my boyfriend and i both had the red thai curry linguine; i had mine with prawns and he chose chicken. unfortunately it was a rather flavourless dish. they were extremely skimpy with the prawn and chicken. there were a few slivers of bell peppers but that was it. i feel like i paid $15 for a dish that should have cost $5. we waited about an hour before we got our food but the server was very nice. won't go back for a long time.

this place sucks! you might as well go to an italian drive thru... salad from a bag, processed pasta. don't waste your time or money. service was decent.

pleasantly surprised.. we stopped in here during my son's 2nd birthday celebration for lunch and were very impressed at the feel and atmosphere of the restaurant. the food was delicious, and the bread was fantastic too. i will definitely be planning a return trip. the best forks food i've had yet.

(having seen the negative reviews, i wonder if part of the reason our experience was so good was because we went at 1pm on a tuesday when the place was mostly empty. i'll definitely plan my return trip during busy time to see if there's a difference).

get place to take kids. to our niece and nephew last night here had a reservation for 6:30. we were all done and paid by 7:30. services was fast and good. food is excellent for kids and okay for our palate. pricing was great.

good place for an average meal, don't expect anything great. ended up here last night without planning to, but happened to be at the forks. we got there at ~7:30pm and were seated within a few minutes. the restaurant was super busy and crowded inside - the hostess ended up placing us at a table directly beside a large party celebrating a child's birthday. we asked her if there was a quieter table, to which she was completely agreeable to after asking us to wait just a few more minutes.

service was on the poorer side, but they were training a new server in our section so that slowed things down a bit. the server that was training her (a larger male who i have seen there before) was obnoxiously loud when talking with customers and was pretty embarrassing at times. the girl he was training forgot to take the menus off our table when we ordered, and we had placed them on the inside area of our table that isn't reachable for the server. he leaned right across me, to the point of brushing against me, and completely into my personal space to grab the menus.

food is always average. don't expect anything more than that. fettuccine alfredo with chicken was cooked well, sauce was average. not really worth paying so much for the chicken added to it (the portion is very small), but i wanted some protein. partner had the mushroom raviolli that is on their "newer" menu. dish is way overpriced for the portion size, would not order it again.

extremely disappointed! terrible service, limited menu choices, the menu items we ordered were poorly prepared. the food tasted like bad microwave dinners.

the atmosphere in this restaurant is gorgeous but the food and service ruined the entire experience!

we were not offered mozzarella, we had to ask for bread twice, the it did not even come until we were finished w our food. we could not even get drink refils. never going back!

fantastic spaghetti and meatballs! with an iced tea, for $15 they started yhe meal off with a half baguette then soup, followed by the main, then ice cream for dessert and coffee/tea!!! and i brought home leftovers for lunch. the service was prompt and effective. the fastest i've ever experienced while not feeling rushed whatsoever. what more can you ask for?
