maybe have taste something better before or maybe just we don't like pickles. feel like everything taste sour. the fish salad have so limited fish which is hard to find.

great little cafe. always busy. love brunch here. yummy juices, top food. will be back. sometimes you need to wait for a seat. good setting, and love all the little quirks.

great find in bendigo!

we came here for lunch on a saturday afternoon after reading the glowing reviews and enjoyed a fantastic, healthy lunch followed by an awesome coffee. our only difficulty was trying to choose from one of the many delicious and healthy options on the menu. it was really good value and the cafe was very popular - might be an idea to either book or arrive early!!

the best! we stumbled upon this little gem when visiting bendigo. it was very busy yet everything worked like a well-oiled machine and our breakfasts and drinks arrived very quickly. my mate ordered the cuban pear juice and said that it was the best juice he's ever had in his life. our breakfasts were just perfect. i didn't realise something so healthy could taste so good! we're going to squeeze in another visit before we leave town. well done!

we've really been all over victoria this year, i think. last week, hubby and i made a quick trip to bendigo to visit a puppy breeder (!!!) and had to stop someplace for lunch. old green bean seemed to top everyone's recommendation list, so there we went. for drinks, we decided to share one of their specials - the 'pink lady'. it consisted of watermelon, celery, melon and lots of ginger, which gave it an amazing kick! i love it when the 'underdog' ingredient is used boldly, and it worked especially well in this case!

busy place. friendly staff. had breakfast here the food was fresh and arrived quickly. could've used some seasoning and was a little on the bland side. but overall a good experience.

amazing. i love coming here for breakfast, and i particularly love the meredith goats curd with poached eggs and smoked salmon on sourdough. the eggs are poached perfectly and the portion size is just right. service is really pleasant and always quick, and their specials board always has some yummy looking treats. beautiful atmosphere, i feel like i'm at a friends house.

it's very rare that a cafe gets 4.9 on zomato so i was a bit skeptical. i think the key to their success is real fresh food. even a simple chicken wrap has that real fresh feeling.

exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable staff. accommodating to my vegan holiday bloody mary needs. coffee was amazing. definitely recommend.

amazing coffee and really friendly staff. i had the coffee paddle which was really interesting and delicious. the mulled cider was lovely, too.

delicious!. i took my mum there and had a lovely experience. the coffee and (especially) the chai latte are the best you can find in bendigo. our lunches were tasty and reasonably priced. we followed it with the chocolate ganache cake, which was absolutely delicious! the lovely staff were more than happy to stagger our meals too! will definitely return.
