my friends and i went on a nice warm evening for some post-dinner delights. it didn’t seem very busy but because there aren’t many seats, we had to wait about 20 minutes (we were 3 people) before we were seated. after we sat down, we ordered the famous thai milk tea bingsoo. the vibes were chill inside and nice covers on youtube were being streamed. and then 40 minute passes and our bingsoo was still not out! worst was that tables that sat down after us had already received theirs! this really bugged us so we asked and eventually it came.

thankfully the dessert was yummy. it resembled thai milk tea but something was lacking... nevertheless it was good. when we got to the bottom of the bowl, the good part was there. textures i didnt know i needed! i had never been excited about cornflakes and grass jelly but it all worked so well with the tmt bingsoo.

what a ride of emotions. that’s the reason for the score. i will be back but i really hope they are more efficient next time.

tldr: order the bingsoo but forgo the brunch menu.

full review: went here for brunch and some bingsoo. i ordered the eggs benedict bagel which was extremely disappointing. firstly, the bagel was a charcoal bagel which did not match what was shown on the menu. secondly, the bagel itself was very hard and chewy, it was basically impossible to cut through the bread i resorted to using my hands (thinking it was maybe the knife’s issue) and then gave up altogether. (i noticed that other people
who came afterwards also had the same issue with their bagels) food also came out extremely slowly, we were the only ones in the store at the time, however it still took roughly half an hr before we got our food.

when we ordered the bing soo (old school milk tea flavour), however, this came out promptly and was yummy.

went on wednesday night and surprisingly it was quite busy. unfortunately the prices on zomato are already out of date, the bingsu were all $16.90. nevertheless we tried the milk tea bingsu and it was good! the ice was soft, melt in your mouth and not too sweet but still tasted like milk tea. will definitely be coming back to try the french toast!

this place was packed out when we arrived one late friday night and is well known for its bingsu and honey toast. they all range from the $15-17 mark and are well worth the price. the presentation on of the desserts alone are a standout, on this occasion we only tried the honey toast (with nutella and strawberries). it was a masterpiece when it arrived. the toast retains its crisp edges whilst the inside is soaked with a savoury butter. the toast is then topped with ice cream, nutella, strawberries and fairy floss. between two, it was hard to finish, especially after dinner so its definitely better shared. also ordered the lychee lemonade which was really refreshing.

i had a good first impression of this place. i liked the interior of the place and the bingsu’s and drinks tasted great. i had the strawberry cheese pie along with a matcha latte. the ice in the bingsu was probably the best i’ve ever had; it was soft and it felt like i was actually eating snow. the flavors were also really enjoyable but the flavor in my matcha latte was subtle and it was served warm (which i didn’t appreciate at all). the price was also a bit too much for the bingsu’s portion too.

this is a really good place for shaved ice desserts or bingsu. so far my favourite flavour is the thai milk tea one which tastes really good. the matcha one is also pretty good but it is a sweet matcha rather than the bitter matcha. the service is on the slower side and you will have to wait for a table during peak times.

great customer services, got the thai milktea bingsu with grass jelly in the bottom which is not too sweet. condensed milk is optional, but i think it's pretty good on its own.
definitely coming back soon!
