i visited with family a few weeks ago to finally try their degustation menu. i had their degustation paris but got to taste a bit from other plates too. first off the place looks so romantic! it has a very serene vibe perfect for dates. moving onto the courses worth noting:

trio of oysters were amazing!! so well-cooked with balanced flavors. the deepfried and baked oyster stood out for me most. i wanted to have more

calamansi sorbet was a perfect palate cleanser.

i loved the honey glazed salmon for the way it was cooked. it was very moist and went so perfectly with the wasabi potato

braised short ribs were quite disappointing. they
were tough to chew. also the panseared tender steak was unfortunately not tender at all :(

the chocolate chocolate cake was too rich for my taste. i could not eat and finish an entire dish on my own. on the otherhand i really loved the mango pavlova! it wasn't too sweet nor too bland and the textures while chewing was delightful.

the ninyo iced tea is also worth noting. it was very refreshing and went well with all courses.

for roughly p1500, would definitely come back for special occassions.

to add:
went back for the ala carte menu with friends. i was happy to find out that a single order of my favorite oyster dish has 6 oysters in them!

great service. nice ambiance. very cozy and romantic. the price is actually cheaper than i expected as they offer really good food! (we ordered paris and ninyo classic) highly recommended! will definitely come back :) (ps: thanks for the complimentary dessert for our anniversary!)

if you have a special event coming up or a date to impress, ninyo is your best bet.

you get the best deal here because you're in a fancy setting with good food yet your wallet need not suffer much. we ordered the nori pumpkin soup, scallop tempura, vongole, char-grilled prawns and hanger steak. that's a lot for two people but we wiped our plates clean in less than an hour. what i like about this place is you really get to taste all the flavors as described in their menu. my top recommendations would be the scallop tempura, vongole and hanger steak. i had to discourage my date from ordering the hanger steak because i've ordered it twice in two notable restaurants but i was left unsatisfied. the hanger steak impressed us though. you will really get your money's worth because you can tell each dish was careful prepared.

the only downside was that we had the 2nd floor of the cabana reserved at 8:30 yet we only got to occupy and start our dinner before 10 because the previous couple took their time. our server mike made up for it by offering us two fans and insect repellants when i mentioned that i was getting mosquito bites (it was raining), taking our pictures from different angles and being attentive.

insider tip: get a reservation for the cabanas with a special request of rose petals. if you want the extra privacy, request for the only second-floor gazebo. mention to the waiters if you are celebrating an event so they may offer you free dessert. they have a lock-of-love thing going on in the restaurant.

do get the chocolate! chocolate! cake. it was soooo moist 💗

we started dinner with a delicious appetizer: salmon belly wasabi tempura roll (php 395). it takes a lot to impress with us with salmon, but this did the trick. it was filled with pleasant surprises with textures of all kinds! stuffed with braised gobo and carrots, the bite-size tempura rolls were a flavor bomb of soft salmon with crispy japanese burdock roots. i thought wasabi on the wrap of the roll was supposed to make it spicy, but the spiciness was not felt apparent at all. in any case, i’m a fan.

for our main course, the grilled chicken balsamic teriyaki (php 450) served with grilled japanese rice, grilled leeks with miso, tomatoes and onion was spot on. the balsamic vinegar gave the tender chicken a great depth of tang and sweetness without being too sweet, while the shiny teriyaki glaze brought a good balance of barbecue sauce and soy sauce with sweet and salty flavors. you can’t go wrong.

pasta alle vongole (php 420) was sublimely simple. it consisted of linguine pasta with manila clams sautéed in garlic and chorizo deglazed with sake. the silky noodles were coated in briny, garlicky flavor from the sauce and studded with tender morsels of the clam itself. the portion is good for sharing.

when asked what’s the most recommended dessert, the waiter suggested chocolate! chocolate! cake (php 295) and mango pavlova (php 245). we got the latter. it was a meringue dessert, crispy on the outside but light and fluffy inside, topped with vanilla ice cream and fresh mango slices.

as we celebrated a blessed year my husband and i decided to dine out and look for a special place . we decided to have a degustacion meal offered by ninyo fusio cuisine & wine lounge.
for the food, i enjoyed the wasabi flavored oyster and my favorite is their perfectly cooked salmon.
the ambiance is great for couples who wants a romantic date but not for me and my husband 😉 we preferred a cozy place to enjoy good food good thing we were seated in the main dining area. the service is ok, the manager tried to be attentive and attended to our needs however a personal touch and warm service would have been appreciated. overall, the place ia recommendable to enjoy good food and ambiance.

loved their (3-ways) oysters 💗💗👍👍, pumpkin soup👍💗, chocolate cake and mango pavlova💗👍.
the salmon was nice👍, but the steak was overcooked💔.

i have always been a fan of old houses transformed into restaurants. i must say that ninyo fusion cuisine and wine lounge is one of my favorites. nice place to dine with family, friends and perfect for a romantic dinner date. so many scrumptious dishes and degustations to choose from their menu.

i'm not really a fan of # course meals. but since the occasion is perfect, i chose the 'cheapest' one.

paris degustation

duet of oysters - i'm not a fan of oysters but since i tasted the wasabi fried oysters with citrus mayo, i wanted to eat it the whole night. i even had the urge to order some from their ala-carte menu.

truffle mushroom soup - hearty but not a fan of truffles...although the truffles here is not overpowering.
wakame salad - refreshing and delicious dressing, love the crispy toppings.

grilled tiger prawns - beautiful blend of flavors that is not too cloying but rich andmakes you want to eat more.

raspberry sorbet fulfilled its task for palate cleansing and at the same time, you can really taste the rasberry with a hint of mint.

u.s. top blade - ordered it in medium rare on both but got 1 in well-done. the steak is delicious in med-rare. the well done was chewy but still edible. didn't bother to have it changed because it might take too long.

panna cotta - i love this, and i'm biased. the crunch and the and the fruits balances the panna cotta well.

the servings is almost just a mouthful everytime and makes you feel full since the food is served about 10-20mins apart. i would definitely come back for their oysters.

availed their promo online, a 4 course meal for two. the place was very romantic with all the petals and candle lights. the food served were all delicious and well garnished. the staffs were very friendly too. this place made our anniversary celebration an event to remember.

this is the second time i ate at ninyo and i can say that they still impress me, not giving it a 5 though.

we got the paris degustation set. as an appetizer while waiting for our companions, we had a truffle mushroom ravioli pasta. to be honest, i expected a little bit more. though the pasta is cooked perfectly with the right amount of filling, the flavor of the sauce and the creaminess were lacking.

also, they served some bread and butter. it would have helped if the bread was hot. anyway, i'm not here for that.

the course started with oyster samplers. the deep fried oyster tasted well until i felt the after-taste kick of the wasabi which didn't sit well with me. i have to tell you though, that i really don't like wasabi by nature. the baked oysters with foei gras was tasty although it's not the type that you would keep eating. one piece is more than enough.

the truffle mushroom soup was delicious, although apparently it was the same thing from the pasta sauce earlier. i'm not sure if that should be the case. the breaded mushrooms that came with it complimented it well.

the crab fat risotto with the baked prawns was the star of this dish for me. the flavors complimented well. the prawns were cooked nicely and the risotto was also done well with the right consistency.

the raspberry sherbet a perfect mid-meal dessert. the sour fruity taste prepared my taste buds for the next dish.

the us top blade steak did not disappoint. i got medium well. it was seared and season just right. again, as i am not a fan of wasabi, the wasabi mashed potato didn't sit well with me. although i still ate it, it was not bad, so to speak.

the matcha pana cotta was surprisingly delicious! the consistency was perfect. it was a bit sweet, although it wasn't overbearing naman. my problem lang was it was too big! they can lessen the size of it instead. 

i'd come back, definitely.

good place for romantic dates and special events. i'd like to bring my best friend here some time. matagal nang naaantala. haha!

a gem of a place to have dinner with family and friends. loved the pre-fixed 5-6 course meals. artful presentation. delicious meals. servers are very friendly and professional. cannot wait to go back again at next opportunity.

a good place to eat for a special event. price is cheap for the food and ambience. for those having trouble (cramming) looking for a place to date the wife/missis/girlfriend, i had no problem with reserving a table for two.

i’m just gonna go ahead and give them 5 stars because food, service and ambiance were superb. no wonder couples celebrating milestones in their lives flock to ninyo because they never fail. every meal we had was well prepared and were bursting with flavors. thank you ninyo!

great resto, food was superb, but personally it needs a bit of refinement to reach the big leagues. it feels that something is missing in somw of the dishes
amuse:
cod fish in somekind of ball and caviar
it taste like tuna in mayonaise, expensive ingredient, done poorly 1/5
salad:
i loved this dish, it may look simple but the flavor is there, texture and balanced dish, what made the dish stand out for me is the deep fried tofu skin, it gave the dish the extra kick you need 5/5
fish:
halibut with prawn ravioli
the halibut was cooked perfectly, crispy but juicy inside, a but dissapointed in the ravioli though, the prawns was like minced to small and it had a mushy texture. 3/5
sorbet:
passionfruit sabayon with coconut sorbet
soso dish, nothing surprising 3/5
meat:
local wagyu, bonemarrow and local vegetables
the beef was braised in red wine sauce i think, taste a bit like beouf bourginion without the smoked bacon and pearl onion, but it was replaced with cumined baby corn and marble potatoes with bone marrow overall the dish taste great, not the wow dish you are looking for but executed perfectly. 4.5/5
dessert:
sweet corn with matcha cornflakes
taste like pureed corn and matcha cornflakes, nothing surprising taste like what you can imagine in your mind 3/5

had dinner with my family at ninyo for my parents’ anniversary. the place was very beautiful. it was a wednesday so the place was very quiet. the food tasted good. the staff we friendly except for this one waiter. i would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.
