i've gone to nellies quite a few times. it is very good every time, greatservicevery friendly people. great homemade meals and pie! love it

i don't understand why they add $3 extra to eat the vietnamese subs inside the restaurant. it wasn't the best sub i've had. the bread was hard. the chicken was just okay. one of my friend had the chicken noodle bowl and said there were lots of meat and they enjoyed it. theservicewas excellent!

run by an asian couple, that seem to have befriended many residents. it looks well looked after and they are fairly attentive with customerserviceand coffee refills, modest prices and willing to make breakfast items late in the day.

a friend and i went for lunch the other day the food was great as well as the new look. it was a while since we have been here, next time won't be as long. i had fish & chips my friend had some kind of chicken sandwich, which all looked good. if your looking for friendlyserviceand good food i would give this place a try.

i miss the old owners of nellie’s kitchen. the new owners upped the prices for the food, theserviceis definitely not as friendly as it was before covid. also the hours have changed, i pulled up at 3:02 on a tuesday and they were closed. that’s disappointing that a place closes mid day one day a week but is opened later all other days. i just wanted to sneak in and snag an overpriced coconut pie but couldn’t at 3:02 pm. it’s a shame that the new owners aren’t even close to being as impeccable as the last ones.

we had a weird experience at nellie's kitchen. the front door was propped open with a chair (in the winter) because the kitchen was filled with smoke. obviously this made it fairly cold and smokey at our table. the appetizers we ordered (cold rolls) arrived after we were done eating everything else. the vietnamese subs that they advertise and have a large sign with the prices on the wall are good but they charge you $3 extra to eat them in the restaurant and they do not show that on the sign. theservicewas slow and the food was passed to us over the railing so that we had to hand it out ourselves.

the food was good tasting, homemade perogies were great, good homemade soup, and nice subs, but i do not think that makes up for theserviceexperience.

best home cooked food. one of my fav eating spots. the soups are delicious and fresh. best liver dinner in town - cooked to perfection.
new owners have really cleaned the place up andserviceis prompt and friendly. the house special noodle bowl is tasty, served hot and is a challenge to finish as it is huge.

great food, friendly service. we had breakfast again today and it was prepared perfectly. the food was excellent, lots to eat and the servers were very friendly as always.great place to go and eat

absolutely fantastic. have been there 5 times for breakfast, dessert and lunches. the food is amazing and theserviceis special and friendly. the pricing is excellent and the homemade pies are mouth watering. all round great place to go for a meal or dessert.

first time at nellie's kitchen - wow! the best fresh rolls i have ever had, noodle bowl was outstanding and so big i barely had room for dessert! but... i tried the pie anyway and ate the whole thing too because it was just. that. good. definitely going there again!!servicewas great, and the place itself is nice and clean.

my family goes here, they absolutely love it! the lemon marang pie is voted top in saskatchewan! and i absolutely love theserviceand food. so good. great prices. great variety. love love love.

we will definitely be back. my husband and i visited nellie's for the first time today. we couldn't resist the deluxe burgers with fries (big steak-cut fries.) they were large, homemade patties. the gravy was delicious!!!
although we were already stuffed, we ordered apple pie a la mode to finish. the filling was definitely made from scratch.
the owner, twee, was delightful and attentive. theservicewas great, portions ample and prices very reasonable. we look forward to returning to try one of her vietnamese dishes.

today i went to nellys kitchen for the first time in my life. it was great, theserviceis awesome and the people working are kind and friendly! one of the best parts was that i was able to get just a piece of fish instead of a whole meal, which you wouldn't be able to do at franchises. also i had the apple pie for dessert and it was truly outstanding, by far the best pie i've had in saskatoon. what made it so good was that it was home made and with that everything they make is home made and made from scratch. and to top it all off everything is at a great price!!

awesome. i eat out everyday all over the city because of my job. stopped at nellies kitchen on friday and met twee the new owner theservicewas excellent and the restaurant was spotless we had some delicious home made corn chowder and twee recommended her homemade springrolls,,they were awesome i will be back there monday nellies kitchen has a new regular customer give it a try you will love it too!!!!!!!!!
