one of the best. we have enjoyed many excellent meals here. the newly renovated restaurant makes a very nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal. would highly recommend the noodle bowl and fish to name but a few, we have never been disappointed. we have always been treated withfriendlyand courteous service. the pie is one of the best around.

great food,friendlyservice. last week, my wife and i had two noodle bowls for lunch. the food was really fresh, and according to the owner, she makes everything from scratch. the noodle bowl and the spring rolls were very tasty. the pork in the bowl was very good, succulent with a slight taste of maple syrup. however, they need to put a little bit more meat in the bowls. their menu is very limited and mostly focuses on canadian food, although their vietnamese options (like salad rolls) will expand in the future according to the owner. i found the owners veryfriendlyand eager to please. this place is going to be one of my favourites since i work closeby and i can't stomach the vietnamese diner.

very nicefriendlyatmosphere! delicious home made pies unlike most local restaurants. we will return for the full meal deal as we only enjoyed dessert today. looking forward to the cupcakes coming soon!!

a friend and i went for lunch the other day the food was great as well as the new look. it was a while since we have been here, next time won't be as long. i had fish & chips my friend had some kind of chicken sandwich, which all looked good. if your looking forfriendlyservice and good food i would give this place a try.

i miss the old owners of nellie’s kitchen. the new owners upped the prices for the food, the service is definitely not asfriendlyas it was before covid. also the hours have changed, i pulled up at 3:02 on a tuesday and they were closed. that’s disappointing that a place closes mid day one day a week but is opened later all other days. i just wanted to sneak in and snag an overpriced coconut pie but couldn’t at 3:02 pm. it’s a shame that the new owners aren’t even close to being as impeccable as the last ones.

love this new found restaurant. glad to have discovered this place. me and my hubby really liked the hamburger steak. reminds me of my favorite salisbury steak back home. not to mention thefriendlystaff and good service, it's definitely a must try.

absolutely fantastic. have been there 5 times for breakfast, dessert and lunches. the food is amazing and the service is special and friendly. the pricing is excellent and the homemade pies are mouth watering. all round great place to go for a meal or dessert.

friendly, delicious. the best spring rolls i've ever had, hands down.
if saskatchewan is afriendlyplace, this place is a shining example. after only recently moving to saskatoon, this was a great introduction.
it may not be high class culinary food, but it tastes better than anything from the frozen food section in the grocery store, it is freshly made, and the place is clean.
i look forward to returning.

great food,friendlystaff. ate here jan 3rd, 2014. had the singapore noodle bowl with pork and extra chicken. the lettuce was nice and fresh. excellentfriendlystaff convinced me to try the lemon merengue pie, and it had a very nice tasting crust. i will definitely return and recommend.

tastey authentic food that is friendly, affordable and fast. my first visit to nellies was truly a treat, as it surpassed my expectation of the quint little 'cafe' i had been overlooking for many years. i was welcomed by the owner who was genuinelyfriendlyand hospitable beyond what i had anticipated the owner and head chef had time for. twee was a delight to meet and she took great care of us while managing the kitchen for all her guests. i watched as she made each person through the door feel very welcome.

my first visit i had one of twee s tasty variation of a simple classic sandwich. tuna salad. the sandwich was very tasty and the sides were both flavourful and beyond adequate in portion, especially for such a reasonable price. for desert my coffee was piping hot and my home made 'from scratch... no can' apple pie with extra ice cream 'because 'we' were sharing' (no charge)was perfection. as we were departing our gracious and honest host pointed to a poster of what was to be our next meal... vermicelli noodle bowls with spring rolls and your choice of meat.

this lead to my second visit when i discovered that twee was now making one of the best and freshest vermicelli noodle bowls in saskatoon... by far. i love these meals and so i have tried many in this city and they are all falling flat these days. most places are trying to shovel you full of noodles (cheap like borscht) and they do not give enough vegetables. twee prides herself in the quality and freshness of the vegetables served at nellies and the proof is in the noodle bowl. on this wonderful visit i explored saskatoon's tallest lemon meringue pie for desert and it was definitely 'worth the climb'.

since these first visits i have been enjoying nellies comfortable ambience, twee's hospitality, and the freshest and fullest noodle bowls in saskatoon... as well as fantastic 'no can' pies all in the great location in the middle of so many neighbourhoods.

i know restaurants... i've dined in the best of saskatoon, i know good when i see it... and nellies offers good in a casual,friendlyauthentic atmosphere. my only hope for nellies is that twee develops a permanent eastern section in the menu and not just make them the specials to a menu that is primarily western. she is a gifted cook and i'd like the opportunity to experience more of her cultural flavour combinations.

love it!. i go to nellie's all the time. the owner is superfriendlyand her food is great! she has the best spring rolls in town and she always remembers my sriracha sauce :-)
