one of the best. we have enjoyed many excellent meals here. the newly renovated restaurant makes a very niceplaceto relax and enjoy a good meal. would highly recommend the noodle bowl and fish to name but a few, we have never been disappointed. we have always been treated with friendly and courteous service. the pie is one of the best around.

great food, friendly service. last week, my wife and i had two noodle bowls for lunch. the food was really fresh, and according to the owner, she makes everything from scratch. the noodle bowl and the spring rolls were very tasty. the pork in the bowl was very good, succulent with a slight taste of maple syrup. however, they need to put a little bit more meat in the bowls. their menu is very limited and mostly focuses on canadian food, although their vietnamese options (like salad rolls) will expand in the future according to the owner. i found the owners very friendly and eager to please. thisplaceis going to be one of my favourites since i work closeby and i can't stomach the vietnamese diner.

a friend and i went for lunch the other day the food was great as well as the new look. it was a while since we have been here, next time won't be as long. i had fish & chips my friend had some kind of chicken sandwich, which all looked good. if your looking for friendly service and good food i would give thisplacea try.

i miss the old owners of nellie’s kitchen. the new owners upped the prices for the food, the service is definitely not as friendly as it was before covid. also the hours have changed, i pulled up at 3:02 on a tuesday and they were closed. that’s disappointing that aplacecloses mid day one day a week but is opened later all other days. i just wanted to sneak in and snag an overpriced coconut pie but couldn’t at 3:02 pm. it’s a shame that the new owners aren’t even close to being as impeccable as the last ones.

best home cooked food. one of my fav eating spots. the soups are delicious and fresh. best liver dinner in town - cooked to perfection.
new owners have really cleaned theplaceup and service is prompt and friendly. the house special noodle bowl is tasty, served hot and is a challenge to finish as it is huge.

great food, friendly service. we had breakfast again today and it was prepared perfectly. the food was excellent, lots to eat and the servers were very friendly as always.greatplaceto go and eat

absolutely fantastic. have been there 5 times for breakfast, dessert and lunches. the food is amazing and the service is special and friendly. the pricing is excellent and the homemade pies are mouth watering. all round greatplaceto go for a meal or dessert.

friendly, delicious. the best spring rolls i've ever had, hands down.
if saskatchewan is a friendly place, thisplaceis a shining example. after only recently moving to saskatoon, this was a great introduction.
it may not be high class culinary food, but it tastes better than anything from the frozen food section in the grocery store, it is freshly made, and theplaceis clean.
i look forward to returning.

first time at nellie's kitchen - wow! the best fresh rolls i have ever had, noodle bowl was outstanding and so big i barely had room for dessert! but... i tried the pie anyway and ate the whole thing too because it was just. that. good. definitely going there again!! service was great, and theplaceitself is nice and clean.

good stuff. my family has been going to nellie's ever since they were up on 33rd by the co-op(some of my family even helped run theplacewhile the owners were on vacation), good prices, good food, havent been there since the new owners took over, but i can only hope its still good, they used to make really good borscht for not being ukranian

thought it might be a mel's diner "less west".

nope...... dead at lunch....?

bland, mediocre food, weird spices....prices are reasonable. not enough to ever get me back though.

spoke to the new owner, she sez she bought it 3 months ago, so she ain't nellie, theplacelooks ok compared to previous reviews but food lacks.

cuteplacecheap eats. its definetly not in the nicest area of the city and the restaurant is not much to look at but the food is prepared well and priced very moderate. the owners are very nice as well! i ordered the grilled ham and cheese with fries and gravy. next time i go ill order breakfast!! apparently its really good!
