this is how the masala dosa looked... the taste wasgoodevery other time i went there... but this time the waiter was rude and was pathetic piece of shit... with shit load of attitude ... when i told them that the taste was horrible ... they said that’s how we cook....and then i got the bill... i went to the person sitting at the counter expecting him to address the issue... that person was more than dead... one horrendous experience made me never want to visit mtr again... all that you put on the walls try and implement it... when you charade a premium for food... and your waiters don’t have the courtesy or etiquette’s to talk to the customer.. the person behind the counter was terrible who was literally dead looked like he didn’t know how to speak at all..... hotel management skills i would say 0... taste that day -5 no human could eat that... learn something from pai tiffins or woodlands!!! and when i even wrote this incident on their website... i was never confronted by them about the issue... i remember this incident even after 2-3 months imagine the experience i had...

that spongy podi dosa still haunts my dreams😍 extremely tasty food. clean.goodservice. very happy!

the perfect place to have a wholesome south indian breakfast.

the onion rava dosa is delicious, although a little oily. i don't like the fact that it's served with korma instead of sambar but it can be ordered separately free of cost.

the rava idli is their speciality and it's asgoodas they say.

the filter coffee is reallygoodand it's a perfect conclusion to the meal.

heard about this place that it serves amazing food. so wanted to try this. but i was extremely disappointed as when i tried this place and was very excited to have medu vada. but unfortunately it was notgoodat all. felt like it was not fresh. tried dosa also it was very average. it's just hyped about this place. will never be visiting this place again

want to have authentic south indian food? mtr is the place to go! try any of their dosas and you are surely falling in love ❤️ i've had rawa plain dosa, rawa masala dosa etc and all were done beautifully. they give their dosas with green mint chutney, sambhar and desi ghee. their rawa idli is also great and filter coffee is amongst the best. if you want agoodnight's sleep, then order their badam milk. it is so flavourful and heavy at the same time, that you're surely getting the best sleep at night after savouring it. overall, mtr is my favourite place in manipal/udupi.

small and clean restaurant and simple ambience. staffs are polite. tried mini tiffin combo when i visited first quntity ofgoodenough and off course tatse was great. been here couple of times now i liked almost all the snacks but i loved badam halwa 😋. it is really amazing. do try all the snacks it is very tasty.

must for south indian food lovers. a little on the expensive side.goodin groups. their chandrahara which is available only on sundays is a must try. their kesari bath is prettygoodtoo.

the tea was brought without sugar and so the next tea we ordered we specified with sugar.. so all that waiter does it ...gets again a without sugar chai and adds sugar on table n stirs it making it with sugar tea

you will find limited veariety in menu but food is delicious.
it’s very clean and tidy place even staff wore clean uniforms with a smile on their face.

cutlet - crispiness was missing but taste wasn't..so 4 out 5. hope they work on this😊

bonda soup - for the frst time we tried this item, it’s small bonda 4 in quantity dipped in yummy soup (kind of sambar) 4.5 out of 5

chow chow bath-it’s a combination of kesaribath and upma,i felt kesaribath was dipped in ghee!!😁 4.5 /5

rava dosa - the centre of attraction in this dish is ghee bowl it was small and cute. dosa was delicious 4.5/5

mangalore buns-if u r mangalorian then i would recommend not to order from this hotel as it's taste is different then other restaurant butgood4/5

filter coffee- if you like strong coffee then this is right place for you 4/5

fruit mixture-as i uploaded photo of this item it’s attractive in look but is not up to level. this one made up of badam milk fruits and ice cream scoop on top 3/5

one negative point is regarding ac temperature it's cooling wasn't enough.

definitely agoodplace to visit for typical south indian food. variety in the menu is pretty much limited. service is not bad. food is great. espcially sheera, it's delicious. adding varieties to the menu will make it even more better.

i have tried almost everything on the menu. masala dosa , rawa idly are must try. even chandrahara which they make on sunday only is good. unlimited tiffin isgoodtoo .
tips: never drink the welcome drinks they give with unlimited meals .it will be very very sweet and kills the hunger
