been to this place for the morning breakfast, we had ordered rawa dosa, masala dosa, poori bhaaji, sheera, idli and filter coffee, yes the taste is as delicious as it recommends, oldest outlet since 1924 comes with purity offoodquality, must visit place.

when it comes to authenticity and trademark no other restaurants (that i have been to) can't beat mtr. it's all about the rich history of the hotel that has been serving almost for a century. i have also been to bengaluru branch. and the taste of thefoodand quality of thefoodreamains same. that's what brings people to this hotel. great food. everything the menu offers is great in taste and quality.

mtr has always been a go to place to eat their yummy snacks and snack platter.

wow all so yummy and cooked with pure ghee . the sheer smell and taste of suchfoodis drooling.

we were on a family vacay and stopped here only because of the brand name .simple decor andfoodis worth the money.loved their masala dosa and rava idli.staff here are very friendly.must try if you are in udupi

must for south indianfoodlovers. a little on the expensive side. good in groups. their chandrahara which is available only on sundays is a must try. their kesari bath is pretty good too.

bonda soup - for the frst time we tried this item, it’s small bonda 4 in quantity dipped in yummy soup (kind of sambar) 4.5 out of 5

chow chow bath-it’s a combination of kesaribath and upma,i felt kesaribath was dipped in ghee!!😁 4.5 /5

rava dosa - the centre of attraction in this dish is ghee bowl it was small and cute. dosa was delicious 4.5/5

mangalore buns-if u r mangalorian then i would recommend not to order from this hotel as it's taste is different then other restaurant but good 4/5

filter coffee- if you like strong coffee then this is right place for you 4/5

fruit mixture-as i uploaded photo of this item it’s attractive in look but is not up to level. this one made up of badam milk fruits and ice cream scoop on top 3/5

total bill was 649.95 rupees

one negative point is regarding ac temperature it's cooling wasn't enough.

mavalli tiffin rooms, have a great function of preparing foods. it's known for south indian items. i recommend this place for great ambience, service andfoodquality. rates are little costlier but the quality is beyond the expectations. try this out!!

definitely a good place to visit for typical south indian food. variety in the menu is pretty much limited. service is not bad.foodis great. espcially sheera, it's delicious. adding varieties to the menu will make it even more better.
