this pint's for you!. i'll keep it brief ... awesome selection of beer, very, very good food, friendly chef, friendly, attentive servers and a darn good scotch list, too.

fair and balanced. i have been frequenting mcnellie's since it's opening in midtown. i have seen the place be infested by dudebro affliction tee wearing morons who drink stella and the staff still maintain their atmosphere and service, for the most part. (they can't really control the atmosphere if it's infested by loud idiots) the beer selection is very good, as are their monthly specials. the menu is good and well rounded; i've tried most everything- from the quesadillas to their cottage pie, to the reuben, and i've loved it all. the st. patty's melt is a great suggestion! i'll admit, the snob in me was a tad disappointed when seeing their tvs in the lower bar area, but i was glad to see they were showing soccer matches. i recommend mcnellie's over any other "pub" in the okc metro.

really enjoy going to mcnellies! especially for the beer and burgers. delicious, reasonably priced, and good service. don't miss 3$ burgers on wednesdays and the numerous belgium beers on tap.

great place!. my wife and i have been to mcnellies on several occasions and have enjoyed it everytime. we did have issues with a bartender once and management made it right. we go on wednesday's for the $3.00 burger special. you can't beat it. the food is good, service is prompt and attentive. fun place to go.

sweet potato french fries - this is why mcnellie's is one of my favorite. their grilled cheese is also a fav on a cloudy rainy day. their numerous beers and cozy enviornment make this a great place. one thing to watch for - this is a smoking bar so don't bring anything you can wash or febreeze!

pleasantly surprised. i thought i'd be getting the usual pub fare of stale burgers and fries but i was pleasantly surprised at the quality at mcnellies. the chili cheese burger is quite good and the tabouli is a nice side even though i'm not a huge fan of the american take on tabouli (in the us tabouli is more heavy on the grain, light on parsley). the sweet potato fries were great and the beer selection was phenomenal.

pretty good. it's not the kind of place that i would go out to dine often, but to grab a bite to eat and a cold beer and hang out with friends it was pretty nice. the food was good and the waitstaff was really nice. we were in a large party and we got everything pretty fast. i look forward to going there when i'm not preggo so i can try a beer or two :).

not that great. i had the fish and chips, and it was average. the beer list is pretty thorough, but way too expensive. guinness is $5 a pint, which is ridiculous. atmosphere is cramped, and just didn't seem that great. the service was pretty decent, and considering we were in a group of about 12, we got our food and drinks in a timely manner.

i probably won't go back.

the hostess treated me as though it was her job to keep me out rather than welcome me in. i arrived hungry and thirsty, but left disgusted and humiliated and will never return to this too-trendy-for-its-own-good establishment.

go for the beer, not the food. incredible beer selection--you can take a world tour of great brews without ever leaving the counter in midtown. awesome location too, in a converted motor court with good atmosphere. parking is a bit tight on weekends, but surrounding streets have plenty of curb parking. food was ok at best. the fried pickles were tasty, but the sweet potato fries were limp and the fish and chips would make a brit go vegan. perhaps i'll get a burger next time....

bomb fries. i'd go again and just order a beer and sweet potato fries. i'm thrilled to be able to find some of those fries in the city! not super great service, so i probably wouldn't go for a full dinner meal again.

large beer selection, good food. i like to drink at mcnellie's, and the only problem i have ever had there is that it is usually very crowded. sometimes it can be very hard to find a place to sit in the bar area. if you can possibly get there at, or before, 5:00 you should be able to find a spot though.

they have a great selection of beer on tap and in bottles. their food is just ok. the potato and leek soup is pretty good though, and at lunch they serve it with a glass of guinness and some bread for $5.50.

do not go here for st. patty's day. the menu is minimized way too much. it becomes gimmicky to the point where it isn't even fun.

horrible service. i went in looking for a place to be served a decent beer. instead i got a place that took me 30 minutes to get a beer and instead of getting a nice cold refreshing beer
i got a lukewarm flat beer. it was overall horrible.

one of the best pubs. mcnellie's and the library(norman) are my favorite pubs. food isn't bad either.
