love the food! bad acoustics..... the food is good, the beer list goes above and beyond. however, if you aren't by yourself and you actually want to hear the people you're with speaking in a normal tone, you're out of luck. way too loud! used to go for burger night, and always loved thegreatdeal. not to mention the sweet potato fries they served on the side were always crispy and hot when they got to your table.

hard to stay away. first and foremost,greatbeer. secondly,greatprices! for a selection this large i would expect to pay more and yet they are somehow able to maintain affodability. the atmosphere is great, the bar top is very large and accomodates big groups nicely. the food is what you'd expect from a pub, a few neat choices and a bunch of regular, mediocre dishes. the potato leek soup is delicious, as is the tabouli. for sunday brunch, a table on the second floor is nice especially near the omelette chef, who is easily more entertaining than any waiter there.
overall this place is agreataddition to oklahoma city and deserves at least one visit.

good bear, not so good food.. first off it's a bar so don't expectgreatfood. the beer was cold and there was a good selection. i ordered fish and chips to eat and it was "okay" at best. my wife had the meatloaf which was so terrible she couldn't even finish it. if you are ever in tulsa try kilkenny's pub for good food and good bear. i will go back just for the beer selection.

it's an amazing place. we usually go twice a week wednesday for burgers and sundays for omlettes. it'sgreatfood and a huge list of beer. which we love!!greatplace all round.

great place to meet friends. i love their sweet potato fries. it is agreatplace for lunch, the food is fresh and reasonably priced and i always bring my cousins when they come from california.

sweet salty sensation. while attending mygreatniece's graduation party, i paired the sweet potato fries with the south city chicken. the result was a savory grilled chicken breast topped with fresh avocado and pico. the fries were light, sweet, and salty. fine servoce too.

i love mcnellie's!  yeah, it's loud...i get that.  but have you been in a pub in dublin?  yes, i promise you that it's loud.  i've spent a lot of time there, i know!  the food at mcnellie's is great.  they make from scratch all the sauces, salad dressings, soups, croutons, etc...  the vegetable's are fresh and colorful (as they should be...dark green lettuces, ripe red tomato)... definately not the norm for okc!  great artichoke dip, the best blt ever!,greatburgers, the best sweet potato fries i've ever had...ask to dip them in their homemade irish blue cheese dressing.  it. is. amazing.  i can't tell you how much i love this dressing.  i hate, loathe and despise blue cheese.  but i'm here to tell you that the homemade irish blue cheese dressing at mcnellie's is a m a z i n g! i like how they separate the smoking from the nonsmoking at mcnellie's...they don't do that in ireland.  the menu has a wide variety of food and the best beer menu i've ever seen (but i won't drink anything other than guinness or chimay...but i will sample).  just give it a try for yourself.  don't not try it based on the weak negative reviews on here.  i traveled around europe and, to me, this is what the pub is all about...food, drink, music, conversation...yeah, it's loud, but that means it's happy!

the potato leek soup is great, and the turkey bacon wrap was fantastic.greatservice at the bar too.

excellent!. mcnellies is an excellent pub!greatfood,greatbeverage choices, and agreatatmosphere! the place is huge too! we visited last night and ordered the fish and chips and club sandwich. by far, it was one of the best fish and chips i've had! the batter is different than most places and less greasy. they havegreatsalads and an excellent selection of beer. one of our favorite places to hang out on the weekends!

great beers and nice people!. i love mcnellies!greatpeople and a fun building that gives mcnellies agreatfeel. not fancy but always fun. service has beengreatevery time i have been there. i love the homemade food too. check it out!

great beer selection. ate the reuben sandwich with their amazing sweet potato fries it was great. their chicks and salsa with the white queso was amazing. top floor has smoking. whole place is a little loud so if you have a group of friends it's agreatplace to laugh and have some drinks. wednesdays fyi 1/2 price burgers!!!

we liked it.. just got home and and a really nice lunch.greatbeer selection, and a very good bloody mary, the reuben was very good and the house soup is awesome, we will be back very soon.

this is in response to amy wilson's review, which i find inaccurate. i was present the night in question and i saw things differently. first, amy, i don't believe you w're here, so you should know that your alleged boyfriend was belligerently drunk and hitting on another girl all night. second, not only is "the blonde bartender" one of the best at mcnellies, she's one of the best in the city. i wouldn't call her reaction "rude," but rather "firm," like someone might be with a misbehaving child. this was in response to your unfaithful boyfriend's loud, inappropriate and, frankly, embarrassing behavior. why did he find it necessary to repeatedly bang on the bar. did he not realize that other people had been waiting even longer than he had? it was obvious to me. mcnellie's is agreatplace to get a drink (if you can act like a grown up).

great bar staff and pub food. if you are expecting something fancy...turn around. this three story pub has somegreatbar food. fish and chips, burgers, appetizers (european cheese platter...hello). bar staff is always quick and to the point. you may not have a waiter or waitress who is extremely friendly, but they never let your beer go empty. that is far more important then any manners.
