worst eating experience i have had in oklahoma city. went on a friday night. ok, it's a pub; and ok, they have a great beer selection. but the place was so noisy, mainly because there was a table of drunks next to us, who were loud and profane. any other restaurant, pub, or bar would have cut off, and thrown these louts out. i been to a lot of genuine pubs in the uk, and a lot of bars and pubs in the us, but this was the worst eating experience i have ever had in okc, or anywhere else for that matter. the food is average, and i can get a huge selection of beer at lots of other places. it sucks big time for atmosphere. i will never go back to mcnellie's again.

great beer and $3 burgers on wed!!. love the beer selections and cant beat the $3 burger/fries on wednesday. be sure to get the sweet potato fries!! also the service is great!!

flights. great beer selection, and a few flight choices as far as sampling beers go.

i crave the strawberry spinach salad with poppyseed and the beer chili is amazing!!! keep it up!

great beer selections. food was decent. an awesome social place.

best pub food. we go there mostly for the food. we haven't had anything yet that we did not like. for eating, the second floor is the best. however, if it is crowded don't expect it to be quiet. pretty busy and loud. waitstaff try hard; but, get bogged down by a big crowd sometimes. burgers of all sorts are the best, and the sweet potato fries are my girlfriend's favorite. if it isn't crazy busy and you don't know much about beer (like us) the staff are good at recommendations and letting you sample a few before ordering. can't beat that.

awesome beer selection, great food and smoke free. this place also has omelletes and a bloody mary bar on sundays for brunch. anyone who gives this place a bad review probably frequents hudsons for watery beer and 2nd hand smoke

the beer selection is great, but that's about it. everytime i've been there, there are hardly any people around, the main bar downstairs is too big and takes up the whole first floor. the upstairs bar is a good size but too smokey for me.

place sucks. i have been here a few times. they do have a really good beer selection but the food isn't worth it and the people who work there are very, very rude.

decent food good place. the food was nothing special - good bar food. expect good beer, nice atmosphere and bar food. i'll be back.

good beer. they keep there tap lines really clean. staff knows there beer especially that asian chick on the third floor.

kick out good people.. have been to mcnellies more times that i can count. almost everytime i have to wait forever but it is totally worth it for great beer and good food. but all that has come to a end this weekend! a large group of friends and i went to the pub after the "gouls gone wild" parade to have a drink and eat and the place was slammed. the guy @ the door was super nice and joke with us. there where no tables so about 20 of us had to stand, this was not a problem because we ordered drinks and food. our waitress brought us our drinks in cheap plastic cups and was very nice and sorry that they had no glasses clean, then 2 guys that worked there walked by and we asked how many onces where in the plastic cup and the guy was a complete ass and walked off. long story short we got kicked out cause we.. the customers that wanted food that bad that we odered it standing up.. i guess said something threating to the ass hole. wow.

best part was our waitress was super nice, the manager that came over and apologized was super nice, and the freaking bouncer that kicked us out was the nicest of them all. that guy must be some one imporant to kick out money. tap werks is right down the street and alot nicer.

i didnt get his name but he is the douchebag that looks like he walked off the 8 mile. he had a cesar hair cut and jinco jeans on. yeah.

good late night. when you want to get food (and beer!) late at night, mcnellie's fits the bill. chimay triple (on tap!), sweet potato fries (love these dipped in honey mustard,) and white queso and chips are all great. i also recently discovered the smoked chicken salad sandwich and white chocolate bread pudding, both destined to become new favorites.

copycat. seriously, mcnellie's? you had to copy off of sean cummings irish pub's halfway to st. pat's day? come up with something original like he did. your half-way party wasn't even "halfway "as good!

scotch and beer, yes. food????. this place does scotch and beer like no other - quality and variety. i've eaten there several times. though the menu looks inviting the outcome and service have been at best, spotty.

great location and varied crowd!. if you're looking for a place to drink with some decent pub food, mcnellie's your place! it's a fairly decent price for food in the $10 range and their list is extensive. it's usually easy to get a seat too unless they are doing a burger special.
