as a student, what origonally attracted me to go across the city to this lovely east indian place was the amazing prices - that and i am also visiting india soon. theownermatthew remembers me every time i go in. i dine alone, but i never feel awkward or anything. matthew makes good suggestions on what to try as i like trying something new often. as a student i feel at home and i can afford it, without sacrificing taste! there have been some negative reviews, but something has clearly changed for the better or else there is new owners. my favourite thing on the menu are the dosas.

we are new to alberta, live in red deer. i went with my mother last week to this restaurant. it's relatively small, but if you want to taste the real kerala style dish, its the right place. we had buffet. theowner/ person at counter was very nice and friendly. he gives attention to each and every guest. really its worth. i have a suggestion to the owner. it would be helpful for some one who prefer not to eat non-veg to have the name of the dishes displayed. i'm not sure some one here commented about a rude owner. may be some one who owned this restaurant before. for us, who ever at the counterowneror manager, the person was very friendly and caring. also the staff was very helpful and pleasing.

good fresh food friendly service.. theownera young man very friendly. they bring u things fresh. especially in their buffet. the quality, flavor and price u cannot beat. great service and again amazing food tastes more authentic than anywhere else we have been. hands down a must try and you will enjoy.

theownerhas to be the rudest and ill mannered person i've ever come across. although, he was nice to us he was absolutely horrendous to the staff working there. we went on a sunday and it was quite busy but theowneror his son did not want to help the poor girl working there. if you know its going to be busy hire another person. theownerdidnt even bother checking on the food. his sole job was to humiliate the help who ever so patiently was putting up with it. will not return. i hope that lovely girl finds another job. i'm appalled!

it's not bad place. a buffet of south indian and carribean food for $9.99 which consists of about seven dishes. but theownerlet us know that they were out of two. what was really awkward was that theownerkept staring at us the whole time we were there. overall, 2.5/5 imo.

excellent!. great place to order take aways, like the way theowneris so involved with his business and is very friendly. good "authentic" food, truly amazing spices to make your taste buds go wild. a "must try", i recommend asking for your order to be made mildly spicy if you can't stand chilly hot food.

worst experience. we went to enjoy southindian food, but ended up seeing a rude restaurantownerwho overcharged us, hostile servers, stale food, and over all a very unfriendly environment. to make the matter worse, my family fell sick after eating the slate food.
i would not recommend this restaurant even to my enemy.
