absolutely nothing special about the french toast, love migas were pretty good though. menu options are so close to that of kerbey lane cafe that i will choose them (as usual) from now on - i like their food & atmosphere better and that combined with knowing many of the local farms where the food comes from makes kerbey lane cafe the choice for me and my family!

try the portabella fajitas

an excellent all day dining joint. situated in central austin is perfect for a early lunch or a late lunch whatever you wanna have. they have an all day healthy breakfast menu with crazy varieties. the host is sweet and the service is amazing.
food -
the veggie lasagna was out of this world. divided between beans veggies and rice topped with cheese. the whole dish altogether was a brilliant dish with excellent quantity.
soft tacos 🌮- another amazing and filling dish. you can ask for how many ever tacos you want. it's a great mexican dish they've got on the menu. can be a little dry but they serve it with salsa so makes it perfect.
chicken fajita - the rice beans and pico on that dish are just outstanding. they serve 4 tortillas and you've got to make it however you please.
grandmas brownie with ice cream - decadent and that's all that there is to it. can suffice 2/3 people easily.
overall an insane place to start your austin trip with.

atx all the way!. places like magnolia cafe are why you come to austin! it offers the atx vibe and delicious food! anytime i'm back in texas, i will for sure frequent magnolia's every time! gingerbread banana pancakes!!!!

best gingerbread pancakes anywhere!. this is one of my favorite breakfast places when i visit austin! they have great omelettes, try the popeye! the eggs benedict is wonderful and always a hard choice when i see those wonderful, hot, spicysweet gingerbread pancakes! melted butter, maple syrup, m-m-m-m! don't miss out on these!

best restaurant on soco....a.... best restaurant on soco....any hour of the day! sorry, they're open. a funky place to hang out and get some good grub. :o)

had the awesome raspberry chocolate chip pancake it was on special. good food overall and nice staff.

had the heuavo ranchero’s with black beans and rice.

the ranchero’s were excellent, the black beans were extremely good the best i’ve had.

sonya had the omelet filled with ham, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and a good salsa.

a repeat place. very open and nice. the staff was good and we were served promptly.

excelent food. fast and friendly service. i just ate the gingerbread pancakes for the first time and i left happy. definitely my current favorite eatery in austin

simply loved it! the fajita chicken is to die for, and the combinations of flavor and spice is very good. service is a bit slow, but the taste of the food makes it worth the wait. delicious!

spinach artichoke dip is soooo good! it tastes different from dips at other restaurant, and they also give you a lot of it.
i got the alaskan eggs benedict. the english muffins themselves were a little tough, but otherwise the meal was good and very filling.
they have a nice selection of teas/herbal teas. the mandarin orange is really good.
the restaurant is very nice, but i'm not sure if it was worth an hour wait.
great service, our waiter was really sweet.

food was excellent. we had breakfast. i had the eggs florentine, and she had the french toast. it all tasted great. the regular part of the restaurant was packed so she had us either wait or go to the patio. we chose the patio and the hostess was pretty much whatever. she said pick a table. the waitress felt as though we were an inconvenience. i am not sure that is how it's supposed to be there. i was confused by the "sorry, we're open" sign. not sure what that means? i probably wouldn't eat here again. there are a ton of choices on congress alone.

really enjoyed the grilled fish special with olives! everyone at my table loved their food - there were cheese enchiladas, magnolia pasta (chicken & mushrooms with pesto), french toast and gingerbread pancakes. also tried the chicken noodle soup - delist!

smoked salmon benedict. saturday morning excellent service. eggs benedict was cooked to perfection. bloody mary hit the spot. will be back. up from san antonio for a wedding.

had the basic eggs, sausage, home potatoes, and sourdough toast. it was very good. wife had oatmeal & fruit which was outstanding! it's totally austin.
