macky's dim sum

delicious. we had a great meal with attentive friendly service. if you ever frequented the china gate in the id, you'll recognize the owners and the wait staff. now you don't have to go into seattle for good dim sum. we likemacky'smuch better than top gun in factoria. you should go!

dim sum in the eastside. my hubby and i both like going to chinatown for dim sum, so discoveringmacky'sdim sum right in our "backyard" makes catering to our dim sum hankering easier. for us, issaquah is a more convenient drive than the id. the people atmacky'sare polite and the dim sum dishes are really decent. if you like tofu, definitely give the salt-and-pepper tofu a try.

best dim sum in puget sound!. i lived in seattle for 20 years, and i've had my share of good, bad, and mediocre dim sum.macky'sis truly outstanding. the food is fast, fresh, and incredibly tasty. restaurant is very clean, staff are courteous, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. the steamed pork buns and honeyed cashew prawns are out of this world! great value and hidden gem of issaquah.

great little eastside restaurant.macky'sused to be relatively unknown up until the seattle times wrote an article about them in october '10. they are now pretty busy and there is sometimes a wait. it is worth it though. the food is fresh and varied. they owners and staff are very friendly and get to know you are a regular very quickly. so glad there is now a dim sum place on the eastside that has good food. thanks macky!

tasty and always friendly. we return tomacky'sfor lunch time dim sum on, at least, once a month basis. the menu (for lunch and dinner) is always improving and the taste of dim sum never dissapoints. it, at minimum, equals, and we believe, surpasses any dim sum offered in the international district.
and the service! it is always friendly, casual and most comfortable atmosphere i have ever seen in a restaurant. it's almost like ... chinese version of "mom's cafe."

my sorry lunch at macky's. the booth was double sided and the big guys sitting on the other side kept rocking back and forth which caused me to do the same. i politely asked them to be considerate and they agreed for five minutes then went back to old habits, very annoying and distracting.

however it is of no matter because i have no intention of returning. it was so noisy that any conversation in our booth was overwhelmed by the crowd noise. i tried to order the duck salad. the response was a salad with no duck and a snotty waitress who told me i didn't order the duck salad. that was after we waited 20 minutes in the first place to place an order and another 20 minutes to receive the wrong order and be told it was my fault.

to be fair they did roll the cart around but we were trying to order off the menu. based on my experience in eating in all level of restaurants nationally and locally and writing reviews of same, i would have to think hard to find one redeemable aspect of our horrendus treatment at macky's.

i certainly wish them no ill will however as professionals they should be prepared to deliver quality food with good service from day one. based on my one experience it is my guessmacky'swill fold within a reasonably short time.
