service sadly lacking. the food, if and when it comes, isgoodby u.s. standards, but not always hot. even when the restaurant is not busy, you may not be seated and service can be slow or non-existent. due to poor planning or caprice (?), popular dishes may be unavailable or sold out, even at an early lunch.
from my perspective, the biggest problem is attitude: 1) the owners assume, incorrectly, that customers are not knowledgeable about dim sum; 2) agoodreview in the newspaper does not mean that people will tolerate service that, at best, is patronizing, and, at worst, downright snide.
this is not a place to take a guest.
