delicious. we had a great meal with attentive friendly service. if you ever frequented the china gate in the id, you'll recognize the owners and the wait staff. now you don't have to go into seattle for good dim sum. we like macky's much better than top gun in factoria. you should go!

the location has changed and it is now on east sunset way in downtown issaquah.  the service was quick and friendly and always available for refills.  we were seated promptly and given help with ordering.  there were 6 of us sharing dishes so we were able to try many things.  everything was terrific!

outstanding dim sum. went twice for lunch because we like having the carts come around. only thing that wasn't good was the salt and pepper squid. the honey prawns are truly incredibly good. shu mai, footballs, barbecue pork - all excellent. the best braised bok choy ever, in a yummy garlicky sauce. we'll be back whenever we're in the area.

great food and welcoming staff. my daughter's bf brought her here on a date. a few days later we were looking for someplace to go eat and she suggested macky's. being adventurous we went and i was wonderfully surprised!

we were quickly welcomed and seated by the nice lady. we took our time deciding and the food came out pretty quickly. not sure what to expect as i tasted the various things we had ordered. i found each was at least as good as the last. everything was delicious, even the foods my daughter ordered that i didn't recognize. :)

since then, we've been back many times and even have ordered take out from them. they are always friendly and the food is delicious. i highly recommend it to anyone looking for good, reasonably priced food and a good dining experience.

dim sum in the eastside. my hubby and i both like going to chinatown for dim sum, so discovering macky's dim sum right in our "backyard" makes catering to our dim sum hankering easier. for us, issaquah is a more convenient drive than the id. the people at macky's are polite and the dim sum dishes are really decent. if you like tofu, definitely give the salt-and-pepper tofu a try.

do not be fooled by the old restaurant reviews. mackys dim sum is a place my girlfriend found through urbanspoon when we were craving dim sum but didn't want to drive too far away from home.
we weren't sure it was the right address, since it was at the back of a parking lot. we gave it a try, and we sure are glad we did. the people who work there are very friendly, like a big family that makes you feel at home when you walk in.
the menu isn't crazy long, but once you hit it off with the servers, they will cool you anything you ask. it is my girlfriend and my favorite restaurant to go to on either a weekday or weekend, we've brought many friends here who also went back several times.
the food is of an amazing quality, especially when compared to other random dim sum places around bellevue, the people who work there are as friendly as they come, the place is nicely decorated and there isn't any pressure or bad vibes. what more can you ask from a restaurant?

great quick and dependable food. we love macky's. it's local, reasonable, quick, and tasty. the staff are always welcoming, and although the menu isn't that extensive, you can't beat it for dependability. we went to a dim sum place in factoria that was recommended--waited over an hour, and the food was atrocious! greasy and inedible, and much more expensive. we will not stray again!

the food was so greasy and worse the oil it was cooked in was clearly old and rancid...they deep fried bread... we won't return.

best dim sum in puget sound!. i lived in seattle for 20 years, and i've had my share of good, bad, and mediocre dim sum. macky's is truly outstanding. the food is fast, fresh, and incredibly tasty. restaurant is very clean, staff are courteous, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. the steamed pork buns and honeyed cashew prawns are out of this world! great value and hidden gem of issaquah.

mackey's for dinner. we have eaten dinner numerous times at mackey's (albiet usually rather late in the evening) and have always found the service to be friendly, prompt and helpful. the tasty dim sum dishes are nicely priced so that a dinner for two can be fun and easy on the wallet too.
they will leave the msg out if you request it or let you know which dishes not to order.
our teenagers have come to love the place and have also returned with their friends in tow. the atmosphere leaves a little bit to be desired...not bad-- just not too cozy. overall i would definitely recommend trying it and do ask the waiter for the house suggestions. we found it to have some of the best flavors in town especially if you enjoy asian cuisine.

perfect for our family. two adults plus three elementary aged children who turn their noses up at things that look 'suspicious' makes for a risky proposition whenever we try a new place. but this was an absolute hit all round. our six year-old declared that it was her new favorite restaurant; our eight year-old rated it 11/10 (and she hasn't even seen this is spinal tap yet!).

we loved: the warm welcome, the simple menu structure, the maternal waitress, the quick service, and the value for money. the ambiance wasn't anything to write home about, but i'm really casting around for something to complain about at that point. we'll be back regularly from now on - our only regret is that we didn't discover it earlier this year.

great little eastside restaurant. macky's used to be relatively unknown up until the seattle times wrote an article about them in october '10. they are now pretty busy and there is sometimes a wait. it is worth it though. the food is fresh and varied. they owners and staff are very friendly and get to know you are a regular very quickly. so glad there is now a dim sum place on the eastside that has good food. thanks macky!

msg galore !!!!!. went there yesterday. about twenty mins after leaving the restaurant, we felt lethargic and had dry mouth, but did not give it much thought. had leftover from the restaurant for last night dinner, this morning we experience headache (still do) and feel tired. we threw away the leftover we still had. not worth the msg side effects! i also agree with toji, they were a bit pushy putting stuff on our table.

came for the first time, excited about a dim sum place finally in issaquah, but was dissapointed. little dim sum place, not a big selection. food here was only average and expensive.. waiters were all very pushy putting stuff on our table and placing two orders without notifying us.

nice and small dim sum joint. but if you are looking for good dim sum. this would not be the place. huge difference from other dim sum place in the greater seattle area. also much more expensive. the taste is mediocre. the waitresses try too hard to get you to eat something you don't want. i would suggest jade garden in chinatown or even top gun in bellevue for the same price buy better food.
