wonderful little spot,greatfor some chilled afternoon eats and cocktails. and if you wait for the sun to set on a friday - the place gets super vibey. do yourself a favour and pop in. you won’t be sorry.

when lucky rodrigo first opened i couldn't wait to get there. my first experience was great. good food at a reasonable price,greatatmosphere and friendly staff. unfortunately that has all changed. the service from the waiters is unbearably slow. the manager isn't very helpful and can be rude at times. the atmosphere is stillgreatthough. my suggestion would be to ignore the fact that they have a kitchen and think of lucky rodrigo as a bar because then you'll have agreattime.

“lucky’s” is such agreatrestaurant that hosted quite a few res events in my time as a student in pretoria. the food is lekker, the decor is top notch and the staff make it an awesome vibe for all too. check it out and have yourself a time!

after numerous visits and holding back on a proper review - probably waiting for a miracle - i have decided to cast my vote and admit that this is not my kind of watering hole.  the restaurant is always packed (which is probably a good thing), and the waiting staff are always running around with drinks in hand (which is probably a good thing)...but the student-nightlife-vibe is not something i want to run into when going out for drinks after work.  the eccentric plants outside and the buzz makes for a comfortable atmosphere, but the meals have been average, and even more so the service - management is no-shows and everyone is squeezing past each other to get to the ill-maintained bathrooms.  let's leave it at a "student jol" and rate it for what it is.  great job at providing the students with an alternative to the far-gone days of hatfield square.

tasty burgers andgreatvibe. i love their chips and their burger options. the only issue i have with them is that they can sometimes be a bit inconsistent.

lucky's is an institution in menlo park. i would die if this place closed down. luckily there's no sign of this happening soon.greathipster atmosphere.greatfood. nice hangout at the back bar. and to have a chilled lunch or dinner, this is the place to go... just go.

not the place to go for a sit down dinner, however definitely has agreatvibe for drinks with friends! good music, cute setting and overall a fun place! food is predominantly pub type meals, which can be forgiven after a few shots ;)

this is a bit of a hipster dive bar - has a bit of a dated and dirty feel and often the service leaves a lot to be desired but the vibe isgreatand the burgers are on point. give the vegetarian one a try - it will surprise you! i would recommend steering clear of the wings which tend to be overly salty. the food is well priced and generally pretty good. thankfully the fun vibe tends to make up for the shoddy service.

lucky rodrigo was spectacular. it is really for any sort of crowd and has such a lovely vibe. the service was good, the food was absolutely incredible, one of the best fillet steaks i've had. would definitely recommend lucky's for agreatvibe and incredible food.

it's cool - service isn't alwaysgreatbut the food usually is great. i like the deck outside always has an awesome vibe. i'll always go back to lucky's

the tiny bar makes it agreatatmosphere for a friday night , if you can get a table. the food is good.
parking tends to be a problem but going early helps.

great concept, this restaurant is very intimate and cosy. i regularly visit them to have the cheese and jalapeño spring roll. i once brought under their attention that the chips were under cooked and ever since it has been perfect. agreatplace for a quick beer and lunch.

great place for a drink and a burger, the onion rings are fantastic! the decor and the vibe isgreatand they have a wide selection of craft beers to choose from. would definitely recommend it for a good night out with friends.

it feels like you've discovered a cool new secret spot when you go there for the first time. the decor isgreatand the food was very enjoyable. absolutelygreatburgers and corn dogs. the only thing that was a bit strange is the bathroom. but it definitely doesn't take away from the charm of the place. always a favourite spot for a beer andgreatlunch.
