my favourite place to chill with myfriendsand unwind, food is really good, i recommend the halloumi salad, but the rest is also great. i've been going there for 4 years on the regular and it truely is my favourite place

what an awesome place to find! very good food, good craft beer and a nice atmosphere all round.

young and old people seem to like the place.

really enjoyed the veggie burger and the boyfriend enjoyed his beef burger a lot as well.

a very chilled place to hang with yourfriendsand get together for some drinks. it's a very relaxed vibe with generally good service.

concerning food- they serve proper steaks and if you choose veggies as a side, you can expect something truly delicious. chips a bit oily and very salty according my taste. the haloumi cheese is great, make sure it it while it's still hot. i absolutely love their jalapeño spring roll! my favourite.

the craftbeers, the fun vibe, the delicious food, the laid-back, earthy decor...pretty much the ultimate hipster hangout! a night out withfriendsis never a disappointment at luckys and the vibe does not die down till late. the food is delicious with probably the best hot dogs in pretoria! the menu offers a nice variety of meals and the bar menu a nice variety of craft beers. can't wait for a fun night out again, with yummy dinner as a bonus!

flavoursome food, large portions and craft beer makes this a winning spot. the service leaves much to be desired but the staff are always friendly. i have been frequenting lucky's for a couple years and have admittedly ordered only a few things off the menu but they are just so damn good i can't move away!

after having moved to joburg i still crave a luckys veggie burger. lactase pills in hand my mom and i went for lunch and i had my craving more than satisfied. they also let you have half salad and half chips/onion rings and being super indecisive at the best of times this suits me well. seriously one of the best veggie burgers in terms of flavouring and size. my mom had the chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich and raved about it but could only finish half the portion.

always a fun spot where you can run into long lostfriendsand have a rowdy friday night.

a quint bar type of restaurant nestled away. the atmosphere is nice and lively in the night. the food is well priced and delicious. good place to meet yourfriendsfor a fun night out.

love the decor, very cute, interesting and love the craft beer.
the service was great and they g=had awesome fires available in winter.

we all shared some platters which was nice, definitely can't wait to go there again with friends.

the atmosphere was lovely and cozy, nice and small, so its a little more intimate than other places.

i also have a great time when i'm at luckiiies! not because of the service or food, just the vibe that this place has is something else. the food is delicious, when you get it, and not to badly priced. where they lack in service they gain in variety... of alcohol selection ;) a good spot to hang out withfriendsand enjoy a few laughs.

i enjoy this place so much. myfriendsand i always meet there for "a quick drink after work" which almost always turns into more than just one. the atmosphere is great. friendly staff, although slow at times. the chicken salad is amazeballs!

i have never been here to eat before but def a great place to have drinks withfriendsand have a good night! next time i will have the try some food ;)

we went there on friday (20150424) afternoon after work, just after 16:00, got a table for 6 people and had a great time! until about 18:00 when we were informed that our table has been booked and we needed to leave by 19:00! we decided to stay as surely this must be a joke, the table wasn't booked when we sat down. at 19:00 the manager desmond informed us that we must either leave or he'll give us another (small table table for 3 people) out in the rain!!!

when i confronted desmond and asked him how they can book a table out underneath people sitting (and spending a lot of money too) there, he simply replied that he's sorry and he'll give us another table. when i asked him where the rest of ourfriendsmust sit as the new table only has 3 chairs, he said they can stand by the bar. 

to be honest, the food is ok, a little on the expensive side for what you get, service is slow unless you buy from the bar and drinks isn't cheap either. its acceptable as the place is close to work, but the fact that you allow people to book an occupied table and make those people move shows that you don't care about customer service. what angers me more, is the fact that when i wanted to book a table last year, i was told you don't take bookings...
