couldn't be happier! just had one of the best experiences yet after living in the boulder area for only a short time. i wanted to enjoy an inviting and memorable evening with business associates.luckypie pizza certainly met our expectations and more! started with the cheese curds and shared a caesar salad. with such a glamorous beer selection, our night couldn't have been better! beautiful atmosphere and some of the best service i have ever received. our waitress was knowledgeable and a delight to be around. a+

good food, horrible service. i am so excited when i see local businesses start up in louisville/boulder, and always strive to give them business. last night, a couple of friends who have eaten atluckypie before, suggested we go there for dinner. it took 10 minutes before a server came to the table, and when she did she realized we had no drinks menu; we waited another 10 minutes for that to arrive.

one of us was drinking iced tea, and had to wait around 10-15 minutes for a refill (despite asking twice). when my pizza arrived (the smoked mozzarella, which i would recommend) i asked for red pepper. it never came, and our waitress never came back so that i could remind her. a table that sat down next to us while we were eating had asked for some pepper the same time we asked for our bill, and had it on their table before we left.

very, very disappointed by the service, and would reluctantly support this business again--even though it is local.

great food, no so great service.. the first time i went toluckypie was within the first week of opening. good atmosphere and patio, inside gets pretty noisy because there's no separation. we got the lamb meatballs for an appetizer and they were delicious, i would highly recommend them. tonight we tried the chicken wings with the gorgonzola, huge disappointment, they were hard as a rock, had no flavor and i didn't see any gorgonzola cheese which is what sold it to me in the menu. we sent them away and got the delicious meatballs again. now for the service..

the first visit we had, the restaurant was very slow and the waiter was slow, didn't really seem to care about anything and it was like pulling teeth to try and get a refill on my soda each time. i gave the place a chance and decided to come back for the good food hoping to get some better service. our second trip the service was pretty much the same although they were a lot busier being a friday night. both times i wanted a refill on my soda, it felt like i had to keep a look out to flag someone down. i've been in f & b hospitality for almost 10 years and i'm very surprised to see the service at such a low end.

abysmal customer service!!!. "extremely or hopelessly bad or severe: abysmal ignorance;" don' t bother calling for a carry out!!! they don't want your business. apparently they already have enough!!! had a tough day at work and read how good the pizza was. i didn't want to go out just get a good pizza and relax at home. calledluckypizza and asked to place a simple carry out order; one margarita pizza to go. the waitress indicated they weren't doing carry outs at the moment because it would take 45 minutes to make the pizza-this was at 5:45 pm in the evening. i informed her that was no problem, i could wait an hour or longer if necessary. "no, we can't take your order" she said again. no, it's ok, i explained i can wait. "no sorry, we're not doing carry out; maybe after 8:00 pm." at this point i lost my interest in giving my business to these people. i will not bother to patronize this place even though i live close by. "good job turning away possible repeat customersluckypizza!" perhaps you could change your name to "no customer service pizza?" hope your business plan supports this type of customer alienation in a small town. i contrast this with my experience at pasta jay's in boulder. i've eaten hundreds of meals with family and friends over the past 25 years there and always enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and good customer service. guess i'll continue to drive elsewhere for good italian food and ambiance.
