awful customer service !!!. last night my friend and i went to lucky chen having always wanted to try it. it always smells soooo good so we were finally like "lets go !!!" . so we get there and as soon as we walk in you could tell that the lady at the front kinda has an attitude, but she hadn't said or done anything yet. so we start to order our food and upon ordering we decide we only want half orders of the ham fried andshrimpfried rice. well theshrimpfried doesn't come half order so we cancel the ham fried and just get the shrimp, but then my friend is like " no lets go ahead and get both. so the young man taking our order repeats everything back to us including both rices. no problem...until we get home and there is noshrimpfried rice. so we call and explain that a part of our order is missing. the lady who was up front when we initially walked in ( and was standing there the whole time our order was being taken.) answers. she tells us that we weren't charged for theshrimpfried rice, but we explain that it was half our meal and that we'd still like it. she then proceeds to tell us (after trying to convince us that we canceled theshrimpfried rice when we know for a fact we never did) that despite the fact that they deliver we must go pick it up even though it was their fault. she caught major attitude with us on the phone (which is a huge mistake to make with my friend and i given that we both work in customer service and are sticklers about it) so having not taken a single bite we took it all back , got a refund and went to another chinese restaurant right around the corner from our house that had friendlier staff, better prices, and better food !!!. lucky chen not only had to throw away $30 worth of food, but they also lost 2 customers because we know alot of people who eat there. i've heard the food at luck chen is good...it sure looked and smelled good, but i'll never know and don't really care to.
