rude management they got the order wrong and wanted us to return it instead of giving us a discount! way to expensive! unfortunately onlychinesenearby but next time we will drive to pick up our food at a different restaurant! i guess the customer isn't always right!

awesome. i don't know why some of you are giving such a bad review. 25 min to make something for take out. well if it was made fast wouldn't that mean that most likely it was premade and sitting under a heat lamp or a steam table for a while? the food is pretty good and made fresh when you order. so yes there is a wait. but patience is a virtue. and good things come to those who wait. i have had nothing but great friendly service. oh and they also deliver so that is definitely a plus. so to those of you who have had something they didn't like on the menu try something else. oh remember a lot of traditionalchinesecuisine is mostly vegetables so please quit bitching.

horrible service i just ordered a la carte three full orders and two spring rolls and two handfuls of soy sauce packets for delivery my total order with tax was 28.00 and i was informed of 4.00 delivery fee. my order showed up an hour later i gave a 6.00 tip brought it back to the kitchen and no chow main noodles and 3 soy sauce pkts. i called and explained their oversight and was put on hold and hung up on 8 times after finally getting someone i asked them to remake my order and pick up shorted order,they claimed they we're too busy and only wished to extend a future credit of 2.00 for the noodles and sauce. i explained i couldn't eat chow mein without noodles or rice without sauce. i had to threaten to call police to receive a refund. will never order from them again abcchinesehere i come

horrible. worstchinesefood i've ever had. the guy on the phone was very slow and didn't ubderstand anything we were saying got our order wrong. very small meals. a joke. rice wok is way way way better for the same amount you get twice as much food and it tastes better. i will never order food here. it was truly disgusting.

bestchinesefood ever!!!!!!!!!!!. hands down! this is the best place to eat- you can take your famiy or a date. it's such a great friendly place! they also deliver!

fresh, friendly, flavorful!. it is hard to find a goodchinesefood restaurant west of redwood road, but lucky chen does a good job! food is fresh, the employees are friendly, and the menu is flavorful. favorites include ham fried rice and chicken chow mein (crunchy noodles or soft noodles). give it a try!

good food. if you liked magic wok it is the same food as they had there. it is really good americanizedchinesefood. the only downside is the prices, plan on at least $40-50 for two people. i'd go there a lot more if it was priced more reasonably. still the bestchinesefood restaurant in the area by far.

rave. the food and the cook, john, are both excellent. the prices are very reasonable. the presentation of the plates is very appetizing. children are welcome. i don't know of a better restaurant to eatchinesefood.

never again!. my husband and i have been wanting to try out lucky chen for quite some time now and we were sooooo bummed with the outcome. we opted for delivery and they were 30 minutes longer than they quoted us and the food just wasnt good. it really had no flavor and the chicken seemed like nothing but breading and not to mention the portions were sooo small - usually when you orderchineseyou always plan on left overs because there is so much food, well i am sad to say we had left overs only because we didnt like it! we ordered one of the dinners for 2 which was $17 and than added a side of seaseme chicken and a cup of egg drop soup and our total was just under $50 dollars! we expected it to be the best we ever had considering the price and boy were we wrong! stay clear of this place! i dont believe they will be in business long!

awful customer service !!!. last night my friend and i went to lucky chen having always wanted to try it. it always smells soooo good so we were finally like "lets go !!!" . so we get there and as soon as we walk in you could tell that the lady at the front kinda has an attitude, but she hadn't said or done anything yet. so we start to order our food and upon ordering we decide we only want half orders of the ham fried and shrimp fried rice. well the shrimp fried doesn't come half order so we cancel the ham fried and just get the shrimp, but then my friend is like " no lets go ahead and get both. so the young man taking our order repeats everything back to us including both rices. no problem...until we get home and there is no shrimp fried rice. so we call and explain that a part of our order is missing. the lady who was up front when we initially walked in ( and was standing there the whole time our order was being taken.) answers. she tells us that we weren't charged for the shrimp fried rice, but we explain that it was half our meal and that we'd still like it. she then proceeds to tell us (after trying to convince us that we canceled the shrimp fried rice when we know for a fact we never did) that despite the fact that they deliver we must go pick it up even though it was their fault. she caught major attitude with us on the phone (which is a huge mistake to make with my friend and i given that we both work in customer service and are sticklers about it) so having not taken a single bite we took it all back , got a refund and went to anotherchineserestaurant right around the corner from our house that had friendlier staff, better prices, and better food !!!. lucky chen not only had to throw away $30 worth of food, but they also lost 2 customers because we know alot of people who eat there. i've heard the food at luck chen is good...it sure looked and smelled good, but i'll never know and don't really care to.

wonderful food at a good price. i followed the owner of lucky chen when he left anotherchineseresturant. hes fantastic cook! thanks lucky chen keep up good work. plus he delivers to my home now.

i rarely tastechinesefood that is just “average”.  it is normally really good, or it is really bad.  i think that just comes with the nature ofchinesefood.  badchinesefood can be really greasy, and bland, but if done right,

we love this place!. i'm not from slc originally, so it has been hard for me to findchinesefood that i like. luckily, we found lucky chen... not only is the food delicious, but the service is great -- plus they deliver. our family orders in twice a month. we highly recommend them.

ok but not great. small menu, and over priced for the quality. orange chicken was very small strips of chicken that were extremely dry and had mountains of breading on them. the sauce was great though. the low mien was extremely greasy like the egg rolls. the egg rolls appeared to be wrapped, then dipped in a heavy batter before frying.

san sauce is fairly close to lucky chen, and is a much better quality of "cheap" americanizedchinesefood.

i don't think i will get food there again, it just wasn't worth the price

great food!. great fastchinesefood. always enjoy the food from lucky chen and it is close to our home.
