not thrilled. always hoping for a restaurant that servesgooditalian food, and from reading the reviews, thought this might be it. not the case. starting with the visual appeal, i liked the dim bar area, but straight ahead is the kitchen with bright florescent lights, with only swinging saloon type doors that do nothing to block them. then, the dining room, too bright for us. sat in a booth, and have never seen a bigger space between the booth and the table. in order to eat, you have to sit on the edge of the seat. as for the food, the antipasto appetizer was very good. beyond that, not so much. the table bread is rosemary flavored--why? the spaghetti and meatballs were very disappointing. i did not like the marinara sauce and the meatballs had pepper in them! we are not pepper people and would have appreciated knowing that up front. ordered lasagna, but they were out of it. went for the carbonara, and that had a very soupy sauce. from what the waiter told us, "everyone" loves both, so no chance of change. service was good, but i see no reason to go back.
