an upper class pub. the lord of the isles is classy and serves a rich menu of delicious variety.

i had a delicious steak and my mum had the marinara pasta. cooked to perfection! and their sauces are delicious.
personally, i would not have served coleslaw with a steak but still delicious.

their dessert was the highlight. i had one of the best sticky date puddings i have ever had. highly recommended.

great staff, food, ambiance!

did i miss something?. overpriced, overcooked, underwhelmed and in need of a decent shake up. unless of course apathy is important.

the staff seem happy enough though

bar staff were arguing loudly, seafood was undercooked, staff reluctantly took the meal off the bill and yelled never to come back as we were leaving. had been going there for years too.

bar staff argued loudly. meal was undercooked, waitress agreed, then a waiter came back and was reluctant to not charge us for it, then realised he had too, then yelled not to come back as we were leaving! had been going there for years too.

don't order the crumbed cutlets. worst ever.

first round of drinks took 15mins(after complaining)lamb cutlets looked shocking and tasted same.only 4 out of nine enjoyed the meals.must have a different chef from 6 mths ago !

steak was delicious and was made in accordance to my preference. their salad salmon is also good, however there was too much sauce i think. overall though, i had a good experience at this restaurant

had lunch on sunday. came from melbourne. service was first class. staff were very happy and attentive. great ambience. food was very very good. wine and beer selection was also good. overall 'the lord of the isles' is certainly recommended.

very clean and tidy pub with great spaces and outdoor entertaining areas. entrees were okay, cheese and garlic focaccia were undercooked but the chips were delightful with great dipping sauces.

the seafood linguine was a great portion size and could taste the freshness of the seafood amongst the chilli and tomato sauce. couple of my friends has the steak which looked amazing with roasted potatoes that were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

service was slow to begin with but mains came out within a reasonable time.

would come back again ! very impressed.

went out to for a late dinner.. kitchen was closing but staff till welcomed us very friendly
price is reasonable meals were presented very beautifully. the tasted was also very delicious. dessert was a delightful amazing taste love the ice cream. i will definitely recommend everyone to try this place

dinner at lord of the isles. service is great quick and attentive, large wine list and impressive ! menu is fine but could have a bigger selection, value for money is good also. i had the pork cutlet which was cooked really well ....... catch you next time the bitch !!!

in terms of pub food, this has to be geelong's best. more of an upper class bistro, the lord of the isles delivers fantastic service and tasty food consistently. i love their seafood linguine and the hubby goes for the classics. all meals are timely served and well seasoned. if you're looking for a hearty meal with a warm, dimmed ambience then this is the place to go.

dined here new year's day. every time we come here i can't go past petes seafood linguine. fresh seafood, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. so delicious, so consistently good. tomato and chilli sauce had just the right amount of chilli. staff were obviously well trained - i'm impressed.

i had the scotch fillet cooked perfectly but the veg was a bit light on. my wife had bernys linguini could not fault. staff amazing especially our waitress who chose beers for me. great food will come back again and again

overpriced basic pub food in a more formal setting. older crowd, and not really somewhere to come for drinks. plenty of better pub options in the area.
