lo-lo's chicken & waffles

i always receive great customer service here, i love their waffles (really the reason why i go). their sweet tea is always sweetened to perfection and i like that they have outside seating. they have valet parking otherwise you have to park on the street.

i ❤ chicken and waffles and this place is the bee's knees. i love the atmosphere, the music, the people and of course the food. i've tried different items on the menu and i try to taste something new every time. it doesn't matter what i order, they always nail it. i'm not a huge fan of the new parking situation, so for that i have to give it a 4.5. but the food itself is a 5.

i'd been to roscoe's several times when it cali - to my surprise quite pleasantly i might add... i found lolo's to be much better!!!

i liked all the great side dish options, loved the desserts, the mason jars. i will definitely be visiting again next time i'm in phoeniz

terrible service, never going back!. 2/14/15 walked into lolos around 7:15 a.m. party of four, not busy at that time. an hour and a half later we receive our incomplete order, while other customers that arrived after us came and left. could not get a coffee or drink refills. when we complain about the service, they made no attempt to make things right. the food was just ok. not worth the waste of my morning. never going back.

disappointed. my daughter and i waited over 20 minutes and no one stopped to serve us water, yet 2 managers were walking around socializing but not serving. they were clearly understaffed. as a manager, i always make sure and help. lead by example gentlemen. less flirting and more work

mix feeling ?!?!?!?!. yesterday our first time @ lo-lo's . 4 of us sat on the little room at the end right of the big dining room .our waitress very nice ask for our drinks order and we were ready to order our food because we already sate at the table for 15 minutes. we wait for 35 minutes for our food to be served we even joke about it with our waitress and telling her nicely we saw 4 other table ( 1 of 4, 1 of 3 and 1 0f 2 ) people who sate way after us and had already there food on the table we don't want to bitch at the waitress most of the time is not there fault is the kitchen who mess up .finally the food arrive look good smell good we had 3 pieces of chicken and waffle the chicken was perfect the waffle were so so no cooked enough we can tell they mess up at the kitchen and rush to put uncooked waffle to get the food out as fast as they could .

p s it was 11:30 am we tried to beat the lunch rush
so we are going to give another try !

expensive but good quality. extensive breakfast menu and it's served all day. service very good. a bit on the expensive side ($3.50 for a soft drink!) but worth it for a special experience.

very rude food is good but that customer service is bad. the lady in the front with the black spotted face was very rude to us and i didn't feel at home at the place.

bad customer service not 2 but 3 times! on over priced dry chicken and i will not be going back any time soon i'll stick to kfc or churches thank you :)

very bad customer service !!. the manager maurice, has very bad customer service !!!! he is very rude, loud talking, and may i say again very rude !!!! i was always taught that the customer is always right, or make sure that they are happy. not so with this man, asked to change something on my plate that was very unappetizing to me and his reply was to eat half of it or exchange it with someone else at my table, i
, thought that he was just kidding but he wasn't ! i'm use to the manager coming to the table with an apology and asking what they can do to make things better!! this man was the rudest manager that i have ever encountered !! i even heard him tell another couple " i'm not gonna sit you at a table for six and it's only two of you, you have to wait" !!!! again just rude !!! this fellow needs a lesson or two on how to treat your customers !!!!! maurice sucks !!!!!!

finger lickin good. reminded me of roscoe's in la and it was i would say almost better. from the kool-aid to the chicken, the waffles, the mac n cheese it was great. i'll definitely be stopping there next time i am in phoenix yum!

lo lo's. lo lo’s chicken and waffles was a fantastic experience. walking up with my stomach growling a glorious aroma filled my nose. as would be expected, this brought joy to my soul. my heart sunk when i gave a second look and say that there was a large group of people waiting outside. they told my family the wait would be up to 45 minutes! this wasn’t lo lo’s fault; their food is just too dang good.
after the wait outside, i walked in to find a very charming atmosphere. despite the business, the wait staff were welcoming and smiles all around. after being shown our table, our party of 14 was able to put orders in rather quickly. the food came out with reasonable speed, and i was presented with one of the most beautiful plates of food i had ever laid my eyes on. it seemed to be well worth the wait.
i didn’t hesitate to dig in, and my mouth was met with moist flavorful, classic, down south fried chicken. right after indulging in an oversized bite of chicken i made sure to get a bite of waffle. the waffle chicken combination was like no other and didn’t fail to satisfy. the waffles were fluffy and had a ting of cinnamon which put them over the edge. this cultural experience let me have a little taste of the south, and let me tell you it was good.

southern hospitality. i went here with some friends from georgia. they had fun 'educating' me on soul food. i love this place! of course i got the chicken and waffles. the waffle was delicious and the chicken was nice and crispy. i also ordered a side of fried okra. i tried the cheese grits and collard greens from my friend's plate. the greens were ok (an acquired taste) - i guess they are served with almost every meal in the south. i'm glad i got to try some new foods. i grew up on kool-aid and loved having it as a drink. i really enjoyed the southern hospitality. my fear is that they are opening multiple locations and will eventually lose it's flare and become a chain.

lo lo's chicken and waffles. m-m-m-m good! i was very happy with the service, atmosphere,and most definitely the food! not only was it tastefully prepared and served hot, but the quality of the food was very good. i know fresh collard greens and yams when i taste them. nothing tasted like a canned or frozen item. even the chicken, though fried, was not overly greasy, but tender inside, crispy outside, and the onion gravy was light in consistency, not starchy, and complemented the flavor of the chicken without being overwhelming. one more thing. i was exceedingly proud of that black-owned business. it was well-run, professional, clean to a fault, and most of all the attitude served up with the meal was nothing less than super hospitable. and we all know, that is not easy to find, no matter where you dine. i will be proud to take our frequent out of town visitors to lo lo's at the first opportunity. p.s. this was the scottsdale location.

wow!!!!! try the waffle with the dark meat leg and thigh with onions and gravy!!! i love this place. the kool aid is awesome too as well as the red velvet cake! great job and the service is down right southern hospitality!
