lo lo's chicken and waffles. went to lo-lo's chicken and waffles after church this morning. thefoodwas good and the cherry kool-aid was great..but as soon as we took our last bite offoodthe waitress came over and said we needed to leave because the have other customers waiting...this is one place that will never get a dime from me again..if yo...u have that many customer then you need to rent a larger space......

let me tell y’all, it’s me hotelbody again & while vacationing for the grandcanyon, we flew into phoenix & just by chance my other half asked the car rental agent where we could get a good meal, he directed us to this place & let me say, yourfoodneeds are delivered!!! big portions, great service & friendly atmosphere. huge jars for drinks, i love this spot & im so sad it’s not in the ny/nj area... please make this your 1st stop forfoodwhen visiting phoenix, you won’t be sorry!!!

been begging my son to take me here for a couple
of years now. he always said wrong time lol f day. it was a well known rumor that there service was rather slow when challenged. well 8 on this saturday morning their serve was on point. thefoodtaste almost as good as roscoe's (especially the waffles exactly), but the menu has a bit more detail and is geared for bl and d.

ok i don’t get it, what’s all the hoopla about lo-lo’s?! all the kudos given, the ratings issued – where is it? first off, it takes forever to get seated! second, the service at this (and maybe only) visit of ours, was atrocious – no good ole fashioned southern hospitality here… ‘get you in, eat it up and go about your way’ service technique! no hellos, how are yas’ or thank yous. third, the ‘southern-style’ chicken with eggs, home fries and toast and their betty boob chicken and waffles along with the corn fritters were anything but ‘southern’! from someone who knows and who’s favefoodis just that, it is not. from our time in line waiting to be seated, through seating and departure the customer service (or lack thereof) was none existent, abhorrent, lackluster and downright appalling. we were uncomfortable throughout what should have been at worst a reasonably enjoyable experience. but overall our experience is bewildering and are stunned by it’s popularity! unfortunately, lo-lo is a no-no for us.

it is always extremely crowded in here, i typically prefer hole in the wall restaurants because of that reason, but this place has better southernfoodthan the south! i now live a hour from nashville and i still look forward to going back to visit my parents so i can come here and get some soul food.

this is a specialty southern style foods and drink restaurant. on my visit they were on a half hour wait for lunch. we ordered and it took another half hour to be served. i ordered a soulfoodplatter. i got a crispy skinned nicely seasoned moist chicken thigh, a very thickly corn meal breaded (slightly over cooked) piece of cod, above average processed tasting macaroni and cheese, spicy green beans with red potatoes (that seemed over cooked and not tasty) and a giant sort of sweet corn muffin and a very large ball of soft butter. my husband had the #3 lo lo's plate with 3 pieces of chicken and waffles that was a better value than my plate. it was a nice touch that the syrup was served warm and the waffle was tasty. the service was above average because our server informed us that thefoodwould take a while.

in my visit at lolo’s chicken and waffles, was the most greatest experience for a first time customer. i went with friend of mine who has been there and told me that i'm going to love it. when we walked in the waiting area was a little small for busy days, but a really lovely displays and merchandise. when you first walk in you get to see the cooks and employees through a see through glass which is neat. the restaurant was very spotless clean as while the kitchen. the hostess had our table ready within five minutes.

once we sat down we had a warm welcome from our server with a great smile, and ready to get our drinks ready. he said there’s pepsi products and kool-aid. i was shocked that there was kool-aid which i got. the kool-aid was just right and not watered downed. and served in a mason jar which very unique. once the server came with the drinks he started right away with our food! he was nice and pleasant by giving us time to decide. he as while suggested some plates to try for this first time customer.

later, when thefoodarrived which i had ordered the classic chicken and waffles plate that came with 2 waffles and 3 crispy chicken. the wait for thefoodwas not long at all and came in really hot. often the waiter would suggest if we need anything, he even came and sat down just had a nice conversation with us. he was always there when we needed a refill for our drinks. so my experience at lolo’s chicken and waffles was great!!!!!!!!!!!

i ❤ chicken and waffles and this place is the bee's knees. i love the atmosphere, the music, the people and of course the food. i've tried different items on the menu and i try to taste something new every time. it doesn't matter what i order, they always nail it. i'm not a huge fan of the new parking situation, so for that i have to give it a 4.5. but thefooditself is a 5.

terrible service, never going back!. 2/14/15 walked into lolos around 7:15 a.m. party of four, not busy at that time. an hour and a half later we receive our incomplete order, while other customers that arrived after us came and left. could not get a coffee or drink refills. when we complain about the service, they made no attempt to make things right. thefoodwas just ok. not worth the waste of my morning. never going back.

mix feeling ?!?!?!?!. yesterday our first time @ lo-lo's . 4 of us sat on the little room at the end right of the big dining room .our waitress very nice ask for our drinks order and we were ready to order ourfoodbecause we already sate at the table for 15 minutes. we wait for 35 minutes for ourfoodto be served we even joke about it with our waitress and telling her nicely we saw 4 other table ( 1 of 4, 1 of 3 and 1 0f 2 ) people who sate way after us and had already therefoodon the table we don't want to bitch at the waitress most of the time is not there fault is the kitchen who mess up .finally thefoodarrive look good smell good we had 3 pieces of chicken and waffle the chicken was perfect the waffle were so so no cooked enough we can tell they mess up at the kitchen and rush to put uncooked waffle to get thefoodout as fast as they could .

very rudefoodis good but that customer service is bad. the lady in the front with the black spotted face was very rude to us and i didn't feel at home at the place.

lo lo's. lo lo’s chicken and waffles was a fantastic experience. walking up with my stomach growling a glorious aroma filled my nose. as would be expected, this brought joy to my soul. my heart sunk when i gave a second look and say that there was a large group of people waiting outside. they told my family the wait would be up to 45 minutes! this wasn’t lo lo’s fault; theirfoodis just too dang good.
after the wait outside, i walked in to find a very charming atmosphere. despite the business, the wait staff were welcoming and smiles all around. after being shown our table, our party of 14 was able to put orders in rather quickly. thefoodcame out with reasonable speed, and i was presented with one of the most beautiful plates offoodi had ever laid my eyes on. it seemed to be well worth the wait.
i didn’t hesitate to dig in, and my mouth was met with moist flavorful, classic, down south fried chicken. right after indulging in an oversized bite of chicken i made sure to get a bite of waffle. the waffle chicken combination was like no other and didn’t fail to satisfy. the waffles were fluffy and had a ting of cinnamon which put them over the edge. this cultural experience let me have a little taste of the south, and let me tell you it was good.

lo lo's chicken and waffles. m-m-m-m good! i was very happy with the service, atmosphere,and most definitely the food! not only was it tastefully prepared and served hot, but the quality of thefoodwas very good. i know fresh collard greens and yams when i taste them. nothing tasted like a canned or frozen item. even the chicken, though fried, was not overly greasy, but tender inside, crispy outside, and the onion gravy was light in consistency, not starchy, and complemented the flavor of the chicken without being overwhelming. one more thing. i was exceedingly proud of that black-owned business. it was well-run, professional, clean to a fault, and most of all the attitude served up with the meal was nothing less than super hospitable. and we all know, that is not easy to find, no matter where you dine. i will be proud to take our frequent out of town visitors to lo lo's at the first opportunity. p.s. this was the scottsdale location.

the greatness of soulfoodor other know as (black people food). lo-lo chicken and waffles is where a lot of people like to attend for some southern food. lo-lo has two locations one in scottsdale and in phoenix. the hospital was very nice and the employees were really friendly which helped me enjoy my meal.
i ordered the two chicken wing combo with a choice of two sides, which were green beans and potato. it was also pretty awesome that i could have some red kool-aid with myfoodwhere else could you do that? my chicken wings were a bit crispy but overcall pretty tasty. i was not a big fan of the potato it was a bit to dry and not mixed as best i would like it. last the green beans were really good and topped off my meal.
the soundings of lo-lo is not really in such a nice neighborhood but is kept up pretty good. it is nicely decorated in the location of phoenix but really much older then the new one in scottsdale. in the location of phoenix the parking can get a little crazy because you have to park on the street. a lot of famous people come here for the culture of southernfoodand how good thefoodis.

definitely a fan!. i'll admit, i was a little skeptical when i heard "chicken and waffles". it's just a curious combination, especially having grown up in the northwest. this idea is all new to me.

then myfoodarrived. i was no longer a skeptic. i could swear i had a full half of a chicken in my three pieces, and they were smothered in some delicious form of gravy, which i could have just as easily poured straight down my gullet. the chicken was cooked to perfection, as were the waffles. even having everything mixed together on one plate which could barely contain all of thatfooddidn't deter me one bit.

i do not have a single complaint about this place. everything was amazing.
