a rarity... comida mexicana muy buena en las vegas!. for whatever reason, lasvegasis cursed. we just don't have too many good mexican restaurants up here in sin city, especially for a southwest town. however, lindo michoacan is a family owned and operated hole in the wall on the east side (the first of their now mini-empire of good mexican restaurants in town) that serves food that anyone's proud abuelita would approve of.
the chiles rellenos and enchiladas are good... no really, they are. however, one might find them pedestrian. if you're a vegetarian, try the avocado tacos to go a little more on the wild side.
and if you're a carnivore... well, you'll be in heaven here with all the interesting finds on the menu! (trust my dad: he knows his comida mexicana, and he approves.)
oh, and btw... even though the enchiladas may be pedestrian, they're done so well here that i don't care too much! they're so tasty, and i always appreciate a mexican joint that does its vegetarian dishes as well as the meaty stuff.
