great mexican food. thisplacehas a nice atmosphere, good service and great tortilla chips with hot salsa and refried beans as a free starter. i had the cheese enchilada and beef taco combo and it was delicious. served with rice and beans, but slightly pricey.

we took a large group on our way back to the strip from a hoover dam tour. thisplaceis a definite stop on our next trip to vegas!! this food is spectacular, the decor is perfection, and the margaritas are delicious!! do yourself a favor and get an uber- the cost is less than what you are saving by not eating on the strip! insanely good!!

six of us ate here at 7pm on a tuesday night. you should get a reservation. very full. seated quickly. fast friendly service. extremely large menu with a very wide variety. food delivered quickly, was good and hot. i had coca-cola cartina (pork) - it was just ok. more like bbq pork. servings are gigantic. margaritas tasty. prices high for what you get. i had a gut ache later but others in our party were ok. theplaceis so loud (average 86 db) that we literally had to yell to hear each other just across the table. definitely not aplaceto go if you want to visit & socialize.

amazing food- the best mexican food in vegas!. thisplaceis the real deal!!! if you don't mind leaving the strip and venturing out a little, this restaurant is totally worth it! the food is delicious and is reasonably priced! do yourself a favor and go!

good and bad at our meal:
mole i typically like thick and complex, the mole was very thin and light on te chicken would not order that again.
my paloma drink was very salty i returned it and instead after dinner got the "monarca rosa" a delicious strawberry cream alcoholic drink.
my boyfriend got the camarones timo. delicious man food bacon wrapped shrimp w a creamy dipping sauce.
we also ordered the sopitos very large appetizer.

are you serious?. thisplaceis such a dump and the food is overpriced! it's a crappy run down bar atmosphere with horrible service and food. wtf vegas? seriously?

very tasty mexican food this side of the border. very good mexican food, at reasonable prices. table side guacamole is a must have everytime. love the camerones timo abolito. shrimp wrapped in bacon and broiled to perfection. combination plates are all good. wash it down with a premium magarita. oh le! great service attentive but not over bearing. funplaceto eat.

best mexican food on east side. i am so happy that this family-owned restaurant started close to me. i remember when this placed started in a single bay of a small strip mall. they even made their margaritas with wine because they did not have a full liquor license. but it was the food! old family recipes with great moles and ingredients. theplaceburned down and we thought they were gone, but out of the ashes comes a great new building with a nice bar. they now have three locations around town. i have only been to the original and i hope they don't expand too much and we loose the personal touch. go where the locals go.
