great place!!!!. i havereadall of the reviews posted here and i have no problem throwing in my two cents worth. i have been to legends on multiple occasions from birthday parties to watching ufc fights and of course football . i am one who doesn't mince words..and i will absolutely say some of my best memories with my friends have gone on at legends and i love their food as well. (mmm..fries). i have had to priviledge of getting to meet with the owners as well as their daughter..and my server has historically been kim. in all of my interractions i thought they had been extrememly fair and thoughtful as to how they run their business. i would never hesitate going back..and although after reading the reviews on the page above..i hope everyone understands that no business has 100% satisfaction... but at least in my opinion.. they have worked damn hard to achieve that with me and my friends. best of luck to your business...and thanks again for all the good times yet to come.

great owners! follow them on facebook!. hey guys,

a while ago legends had a promotion where they were giving away free grizzly tickets to the first person to call their pub, i jumped on the opportunity and spoke with the owner (lisa) she was super friendly and she hooked me and my friends up with 12 tickets to the grizzly games. to show our appreciation, we ordered food and man was the food great! my friends agreed with how great the service and food was, even the waitresses would make regular rounds to get to know us. i've never been treated that great at a restaraunt/pub/grille before.

they were very friendly and i was impressed with the establishment! ireadthe reviews below about the whole $5.00 cover charge, come on people... you're watching a pay per view event, who cares if you aren't informed of a mesely $5.00 cover charge! lol. i hope people aren't running away from legends because someone can't afford a $5.00 bill! great work legends! i hope to visit your place again soon! - andy

"shame on you". well lisa, i feel i have been lied to. i was the one who called you, concerned about the negative story i heard about your pub. you told me, you and your daughter had apologized and i wanted to believe you. when ireadyour comments on this forum all i heard were excuses and commercials. i havereadeverything so far and i think the negatives are being easy on you. my review:
"horrible experience! worse ever!" was being fair with his account of the events, positives were where they were warranted, and the negatives in their place. "legend's", lisa the owner, your response to this review was shameful. your so called apology was underlined with excuses and back biting high school antics. especially the second to the last paragraph, you showed no class at all. true character is shown in times like this. at least your daughter was upfront with her comments and language, we do learn from our parents. business 101 "the costumer is always right." you are learning this the hard way i see, that's unfortunate. you would of been better off paying for the whole fight on your own. think of the incredible and invaluable publicity you would of received if you would of, could of, risen to the responsibility and owning up to your mistake and comping everyone that night, if needed be. shame on you.
"legend's is struggling," i applaud you and your comments. i felt nearly the exact same way, when ireadthe others. i love the way you can express yourself. i think it is fabulous that you would step up and make your comments known. "unbelievably dissatisfied," thank you for your input, it did add to the truth of what happened. "bree," in your comments not once did ireadan apology to anyone. it doesn't sound like you have learned anything here, and instead it just sounds like you enjoy talking about yourself and being in a commercial. i know you are young and inexperienced but there are times you need to rise to the occasion. "use to be a customer," and "serious concerns," both, well put : ) dave, if you aren't one of the owners, in joey's defense, i thought you were also and it sounds like, through your comments, you don't seem to be a very nice person.
lisa, i alsoreadyour last comments. being an adult myself, my opinion is, you are the one not being the adult here. in joey's first review he asked you to contact him personally through his email and you chose not to. instead you made excuses, did commercials, lied and did some name calling yourself. most of all, don't break your arm patting yourself on the back. never did ireadanywhere, a true, heart felt, apology to anyone, publicly or privately. again, shame on you !!!!!
i have had the opportunity to pass this story on several times and in every instance they have been appalled and wanted to make sure they had the name of the place correct, so they wouldn't make the mistake of going there.

use to be a costomer.. i have been going to jersey's/legends for the ufc fights for a long time. i take several of my friends there and we have dinner before the fight and drinks the rest of the night. i have never been impressed with their service and the food was average for a pub. i was unable to attend the last fight but my friends told me about the incident. ireadthe reviews here and have to say i disagree. i have never had to pay nor have i heard about the $5 cover. not that i would mind paying it but why would you charge a cover after the fact? furthermore why would you let it cost you customers? i have been in the management business before and this baffles me. i understand from the owners post that there was no security? you are lucky that this is all that happened. i cannot imagine the liability issues had there been a fight or worse. i will not be going to legends again. i am perfectly happy watching the fights at the point after where there is a $5 cover for fights, but you pay it when you enter. the service there is great and the food is also not bad. i'd welcome everyone offset by this event to join me there.

legends is struggling. i go to legends quite often. they're not the greatest and don't offer anything that you can't get at the more popular chains like iggy's or the sky box, but i try to support and recommend locally owned businesses as often as i can.

but sadly, i can say i will not be going back to or recommending legends ever again. i was at legends and witnessed the whole debacle that is part of the review, ""horrible experience! worst ever!" by user id joey. i was at a nearby table that night and had friends join me later there as well. for the record, i too, was not informed of the $5.00 fight charge. my friends who joined me after i had already sat down were not told either. so i don't find it hard too believe that the people who were complaining of the charge were not told either.

i'm quite disappointed in the owner's response. when ireadit i understood only one thing to be clear: legends must be struggling. why else would a company take such a firm stance on recovering a mere $30? the principle of the matter maybe? if that's the case, they obviously do not understand the principles of customer retention, customer goodwill and instilling customer loyalty. this is evident in the way they treated these customers and their disregard for how their actions would affect other customers like myself. they have just sacrificed an unknown amount of future profits from those people, me and possibly others, based on the principle. which incidentally, is what the customers were arguing about all along-yes it was only $5, but they disagreed with the principle of paying for a fee that was slipped in there without their knowledge. i heard them repeatedly say they would pay for their bills, just minus the fee and they would have been ok paying the fee had they only been informed beforehand. a notion i completely agree with. i was quite annoyed seeing the charge on my bill as well. i understand the staff was supposed to tell everyone about the charge, but that clearly did not happen.

the bartender/waitress, whose name was brit according to her badge and the two reviews, acted highly inappropriately-it basically looked like a temper tantrum from a middle-schooler. as a fellow business owner, i know that you never treat customers in that manner, however wrong you feel they may be. i mean, come on, that's business 101. but i could have understood that she being human, simply made a mistake and dismissed it. but judging from the legends owner's response, i now see her behavior is simply indicative of management's philosophy. a philosophy i cannot and will not endorse. that of the bottom line being far more important than their customers.

legends must be struggling. i cannot think of any other reason why they would risk alienating customers for $30. it's unfortunate, but i would say you should avoid legends at all costs and go anywhere else. they weren't that great to begin with anyway, so you won't be missing out.
