this place is amazing, every dish is the perfect mix of flavours. it was hard to find it because is hidden, but definitely the best restaurant in montreal.

i started with the scallop, avocado, orange, asperagus and beet salad, (which, i would say, rivals the slaw at susur lee's)

excellente adresse. personnel hyper sympathique et attentionné. notre serveur avait vraiment une personnalité du tonnerre et connaissait très bien la carte des vins.

côté plats, on n'est certainement pas déçu. plusieurs plats de poissons et fruits de mer. mélange de saveurs très intéressants.

prix plus doux que le chasse et pêche mais les 2 endroits ne se comparent pas.

décor noir moderne intéressant.

when you leave le filet and you tel yourself that
coming back is a must, then you know the dining experience was great, and so it was. i could discourse on the originality and presentation of the dishes but it is also the ambiance and those added complements often absent at some restaurants that made the evening
enjoyable. do trust staff on wine pairing. leave your
wine preferences for another day and trust staff on
pairing. they are knowledgeable and you will discover new labels. ask for the house cocktail
la piscine. it is the hottest drink in paris at this time.

il me semble que dans ma mémoire c était super bon il y a quelques années. j y suis retournée hier... service excellent et serveur super aussi. mais la nourriture .... le tartare de thon qui goûtait le sucre comme si l on avait échapper le pot de sucre ... la pieuvre très ordinaire pas tendre comme on le voit ailleurs ... les huîtres excellentes par contre ..bref déception. je ne sais pas si ils ont changés de chef mais bref peut être pour cela que ce n était pas du tout plein un jeudi soir.

one of my favorite spots in montreal. i just love grabbing a spot at the bar over there! service is impeccable and the food is just perfect! if you're fan of seafood, don't think twice about heading there. definitely one of the ''top 5'' restaurants in montreal in my opinion!

amazing service and food! got 14 tapas for 4 people and everything was delicious! our reservations were at 7 and got seated right away. will go back soon!

amazing service, great food. worth the price!!! the waiters suggest ordering 2-3 for each person, but that sounded like a lot to me and my friends so the three of us each ordered one dish and together we shared two. perfect amount of food!!!

this place is awesome, in our top 5 in mtl. everything from the service, ambiance to the food was awesome. service was friendly, courteous, professional and fun. the food was sublime. we decided to share 5 plates and each were perfect. so happy we tried this place out but sad we hadn't gone there sooner.

unique. the decor is trendy with fishnets on the walls. the service is friendly and professional. an army of waiters show up punctually to deliver the tapas to each table. the food and wine menus are surprisingly extensive. lots of imaginative combinations of flavors in the plates.

standard food / medium service. the dishes are well prepared but lack some flavour. the "morue noire" was nonetheless excellent. but the three other were "standard". you can add some pieces of foie gras and claim that it fits gastronony standards but it's not. the dessert "serenade" was really bad : dry. tasteless. wine is super expensive. 9$ for a quite basic withe wine sold for about 17$ at saq...
service was minimal. restroom dirty. for such price, you can find way better in montreal.

all good, but overpriced. all dishes tasted good, but overpriced.

delicious.. it's true, quite delicious but too expensive for what is offered.

le filet has been a hot table in montreal since it opened, nearly 3 years ago. odd spotlit, mirrored strips flanked one wall, while a long granite bar filled the other. the energy was palpable as we sat down at nearly 9:15pm.

are you kidding me???. having lived in montreal for the last 40 years and considering that i am the biggest foodie and restaurant recommender of all my friends, i am embarassed that it took me so long to try out this jewel of a place. from start to finish, we were treated with such attention and gracious servers, water filled every time the glass was almost empty, after each course the staff asked us how we liked each dish. very impressive. the food?? omg, every mouthful is an explosion of flavours, primarily seafood driven, so intricate i really cant tell you the specifics of each plate except that each one (of 6 different plates we tried) was just as good if not better than the previous one. deserts to die for. am i a fan? absolutely. will i return? you can bet your sweet foodie i will!! the owner, graciously greeted us when we arrived, presented himself and was at the door when we left to say goodnight and ask us if everything was to our satisfaction. on 10? i give it a 20! bravo le filet! i will be coming back again and again. if you have never been, prepare yourself to be in heaven for a few hours!

excellent!. certainement l'une de mes meilleures expériences culinaires à montréal. le menu est inventif, les plats sont délicieux et le service impeccable. je le recommande fortement.
