another perfect experience with friendly service and wonderful food. loved the garlic prawns and my glass of babydoll :)

went to l32 today. was told about the fan issue in the kitchen, but wasn't put off. had a fantastic lunch with great service. thank you and well done. loved the seafood salad.

nick ~baldivis. event to latitude's last night, found it to be a very well run and inviting establishment, wait staff very pleasant and knowledgeable.
the entrées were good and the mains steak cooked to perfection, yum. however the wine(red) was at "warm" room temperature and a let down as an accomplyment to the steak. death by chocolate was a let down for desert, it "died on the plate" clumsily plated, less is more.
having said all this, i thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, hopefully management take notice.
if they can fix some of these small critique's, then this is my new favourite rocky.restaurant look forward to returning

lunch time disappointment .. went to latitude 32 today for lunch and what a disappointing experience it was. the food was below average and it felt as though it was thrown on the plate with no care at all. not only was no care given to the presentation, the overall taste was bland, under seasoned and some parts were burnt. the meals we ordered were simple, and the 'chefs' should have been able to execute them without a problem.

the cost was fine if our meals were enjoyable. the service was great and the staff friendly, however we would never return because lets face it the food was a waste of money. sadly the most enjoyable part of our meal was the free after dinner mints with the bill.

not bad. service great, sword fish and salmon were cooked well but lacked taste/sauce and came on a bed of stogey rice,
desert was great.

awesome!. popped in for an impromptu dinner not expecting much on a thursday night. very impressed with the front of house and even though we ended up being served by three different staff members- none of them missed a beat. my partner and i thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks the espresso martinis are perfect to start any meal with, our steaks were cooked exactly how we liked them and i loved my vegetables and stuffed potatoes. we are looking foward to return dining here and have already started to spread the word.

lovely relaxing lunch on the foreshore. the husband and i enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend lunch at latitude 32. i ordered fish and chips, the batter was crispy and golden and the portion size was perfect for me. the aoli was delicious! the husband had chilli muscles and thoroughly enjoyed the dish. the service was friendly and the drinks staff made the best lemon lime and bitters. it was a lovely treat after a busy working week. was too full for dessert but we will be back soon.

very disappointing. the food was below quality restaurant standard (ie chicken overlooked, gristle in steak, beard on muscles)
requests not followed (ie no lemon/lime requested but served anyway)
if this restaurant is to be any competition to fine dining local restaurants it has a long way to go!

very friendly customer service, and a lovely atmosphere. i had the baked salmon - the lemon and herb taste was very strong but overall a nice meal. i would dine here again based on the service alone.

big fan. love everything about it. my family and i have frequented latitude 32 since it opened its doors. we are slowly working our way through the menu and have loved everything we have tried so far. the chicken quesidilla, black mussels, bbq ribs, goats cheese w' walnut crostini, seared scallops with blue cheese dressing and the prawn cocktail are favourites if to just name a few.......the service is consistent, the staff are friendly, attentive and professional, and the sunset view is spectacular. did i mention that the martinis are yum. what more could you want......:-)

fantastic allround. not sure why the person's review previously is not good,... however our experience from the time we walked in to the time we left was fantastic, such wonderful food and have already recommended to others, one person's not very nice review should not deter anyone i think, ive frequented many restaurants in rockingham and this is one of the best, thankyou for my enjoyable experience and the food and price of course.

very disappointed with this place and haven't even eaten there yet! was supposed to have dinner there last night for a friends birthday. table was booked and subsequent phone calls were made to add extra people. when we turn up there's a notice on the door saying they are closed due to extraction fan problems! where is the decency in not calling people who have bookings to tell them?!!

pespective. having offered two previous reviews i went on to read all reviews and a definite trend appears - majority of comments, including mine regarding lunch were good, great or better. dinner reviews were good, mediocre or bloody awful. from my perspective the problem is in the kitchen with staff not coping at all well with the full menu at busy times.
please get your act together l32 - rockingham needs the quality and class you promise have not yet, quite delivered!

what a let down!. following our great lunch experience (ref "all class" review 11/04) we took our high expectations with us to dinner on the following sunday. once again the wait staff were polite, friendly and attentive so l32 has no problem with front of house. they were, perhaps a little slow but forgivable as they were very busy.
i greatly enjoyed the garlic prawns for main at our previous lunch visit so decided to have them for entrée this time - big mistake, luke warm, watery and overcooked.
all three mains were sub-standard:
(a) my rare wagyu was cooked genuinely rare but had been over seasoned by the chef/s to the extent of being very salty. wait-person response was: "a few people have passed similar comments - must be the cut of beef." i have consumed a small herd of cattle in my life including wagyu and not once experienced salty cow grown, slaughtered or butchered to produce this taste. accompanying vegetables also forgettable.
(b) my wife's bbq chicken breast overcooked, dry and tasteless.
(c) my son's ribs also over cooked, dry and tasteless.
i would love to see latitude 32 get their act together as they would be a great fit into the rockingham boardwalk strip but they must start again with kitchen staff to achieve the standard reasonably expected of a high end restaurant surrounded by cafes or stay where they are and join the cafes in being just good enough (mediocre).

all class. took my darlin' for lunch last week and we were so impressed we almost booked for dinner on the same night. service was attentive, polite and friendly without being over the top at all. food from the lunch menu was spectacular - garlic bread made with oodles of fresh garlic followed by great seafood, all washed down with a bottle of beautiful margaret river ssb. looking forward to trying their dinner menu this sunday.

worst steak. had lunch with friends and celebrated with a few cocktails. my cocktail had very little alcohol and had a piece of plastic in it. it looked like the tip of a ball point pen. i showed the waitress and said she'd investigate, however did not return. not impressed. we ordered 3 wagu steaks and looked forward to our medium cooked steaks. all 3 came out well done and dry. no sauce and small salad. certainly not worth the money. wait staff need to polish their skills. would not recommend or return to this restaurant.

all class. four of us decided to try this new restaurant, heard good things about it and the location is perfect.right from the start we were warmly welcomed and the service was excellent throughout our visit. two of us had steaks which were cooked perfectly and the other meals were the chicken quesadilla and the caesar salad all of which were delicious. we were too full to have desserts but will most definitely be going back for dinner. keep up the great work and thank you for a lovely dining experience. m and c from mandurah

meh!. went out to lunch with some friends last week. my first and probably last visit there. now the staff were very friendly. however i ordered some garlic bread for the table (which was pretty average and came out after the meals) and the gnocchi. it won me over because the menu stated it had mushrooms and baby spinach. when my meal finally arrived it looked delicious, it even tasted ok, but there was absolutely no mushrooms. i never normally send food back, as i am usually easily pleased. but it was missing a main ingredient. i had to chase the waiter to tell him . they took my meal and said they would add some mushrooms. in the mean time, my friends all just about finished their meals.. they eventually brought out a fresh plate of gnocchi. nice and hot, with mushrooms, but no spinach! sent it back again, only this time it came back with a handful of spinach thrown on the top. not even wilted, or stirred through and it was cold! as if i was going to send it back again! i ate it, but was not impressed. they did offer me a coffee on the house (for the inconvenience) . lucky when the coffee finally arrived it was cold so i could quickly gulp it down and leave to do the school run. while the service was very friendly. i was very disappointed that after the second time i sent my meal back it came back cold with spinach just thrown on the top. they made a mistake twice with the meal, but it was obvious after that second time there was a bit of attitude happening from the chef.
